I miss good old egg cave where we had lots of fun and so many users to be around. Getting eggs didn't matter but it is nice. We can try and get people to not leave unless they have a good reason, we could try to be nicer and make friends with everyone. No Enemies. No Spamming. No Stealing/hacking. Be a good user 😃

I saw the Good egg caver thing and I think I must be one then.

I think eggcave has become a less friendly place than it was in the old days, but there's not much that can be done about it. I think I'm a fairly well behaved user (though I'm sure certain people on here won't agree with me).

I think some of the newer features are also to blame for eggcave becoming less friendly. For instance, trading already started causing drama as soon as it was introduced, since some of the rares were really hard to get. When Onnies were first released people were going crazy for them and quite some harsh words were said. I myself got accused of begging and whining by a couple of sore losers when I got Miffy ☹️ Then there is the fact that creatures are only getting more rare and therefore people can't always just be given/trade for the pet they want, which also leads to conflicts. And most recently there are the forums, which are the ultimate platform for drama. Sometimes people think they are being attacked for no reason at all, while others can be quite blunt.

I'll probably be liked less now, but I'm not really in the mood to care today :/

As for the the talk about old eggcave vs the now, I haven't been here long, but I see a lot of it. Eggcave takes up at least 60% of my days since I have returned to it. It's obvious to me that eggcave is set up so drama can exist. The causes are rare eggs, rare bg's to a lesser extent, and the forums. These things will forever give us something to fight about. All you can do is live with it or leave.
What I do to stay happy on eggcave is avoid the forums as much as possible, be happy with what I have and can get with creatures and such, and just worry only about raising my eggs to maturity. I am probably the happiest person on eggcave cause of this lol.

Those are very good advices. Especially when comes to newbies - we shouldn't call their pets junk and tell them they wont ever achieve their goals.
