As you know Eekyo, my lizard, stopped eating for two weeks.

Maybe three now, it should be three if I'm adding these few days.

Well, here's before he stopped eating

Ouch

//Anoles turn between green and brown, it is the same lizard//

I have been coaxing him to eat
Yesterday I got him to eat three tiny crickets
Today two
Imma try for two a day, to build up his strength.

I hope it's not too late >3<

The internet might help! XD Or surround him in food. OwO I hate animals starving and sick... My precious hamster had no teeth, and died...

Put a bunch of crickets in the cage, and keep one or two alive, so it seems fun to eat.

Guys, I'm getting him to eat XD
He refuses to eat [So the crickets infront of him won't work] but I've been coaxing him to eat.

O.o That doesn't look good... I hope he gets better, but I guess, whatever may be wrong with him, the best thing to do is just make sure he at least eats something so he doesn't die of starvation o.o

@icicle_9510

I'll check his.. bowel movements
How would I help him if it's a blockage?

Deleted • 25 September 2011 at 3:10 PM

@cafe I don't know O_O I don't own a lizard....uhhhhh----what food can you give a lizard that's loaded with fiber? Anything with fiber that a lizard can eat might help him if that's the case;)

@cafe have you tried calling any exotic pet vets? >.< And just DON'T surround him in crickets because they will eat him...

Deleted • 25 September 2011 at 3:14 PM

@cafe it could also be a lizard illness that's going around...i'll go google common lizard disease....

@lizardfeather

I'm not
I'm hand feeding
They're kept seperate

When he was healthy, never kept more then two in his cage. And threw a potato in there for them to eat.

We don't have any x.x
The nearest exotic exotic pet vet, is an hour away
I can see me taking my cockatoo there, but I don't think my mom will allow an hour trip over a tiny lizard

@lizardfeather

I know
But I also dont want to take that chance.
He's so week, the stress of driving a hour might kill him.

Wow what kind of vets are they?? Turning away an animal for size is just cruel. It's ill! Size should not matter.

@gvantsa well the argument is that the vet will do more damage than good because the instruments might end up killing them. It's like a specialization to do small pets, its not just cruelty.

@cafe Hmmm well if it gets worse you might want to try driving him...
