Current state of rereleasing

Can someone catch me up on what the site’s most recent statement on rereleasing creatures is and when this was stated. I’ve tried reading the official rerelease thread but its old from 2015 and too many people were stating their opinions everywhere I couldn’t keep up.

I just want to know what was the last thing Ian has said or promised about rereleasing creatures so I can act accordingly in regards to trading. 😊

Only concrete statements or promises from Ian. Not asking what you think should happen haha I’d only get more confused XD
