no creature with the name "theworld" exists, but i cant claim it?

hi again!! im trying to name my catsmos "theworld" (yes, after dios stand from jjba, lol) and it said it was taken, so i decided to search for it and see if the owner of the name was still active so we could possibly make a trade. however, when i looked it up, no creature with that name existed. this means i should be able to take the name, but i cant? id appreciate any explanation/help, thanks 😊
