THE DEAD OF NIGHT: Roleplay Thread

[ This is the roleplay section. I'll start as an example. You do not have to make it this long or follow my format. ]

Melody looked all over, looking for a source of light.
After the "dark pulse" arrived, the night had strived; the never-ending night,
she called it. When she hadn't found a source,
she pulled out a small Pokéball.
It grew larger and glew, splitting in half;
and a large light beamed out.
Her Cinderace seemingly popped out.
Melody smiled seeing Cinderace,
her starter,
after such a long time.
After the "dark pulse" arrived time passed much quicker.
She had definitely grown in age.
Cinderace started up a Pyro Ball,
lighting up the path.
Melody followed Cinderace,
as she happily bounced through the forest.
The forest glew eerily,
and it seemed like everything was wilting...
Melody sent out another Pokéball,
and out came was a Primarina.
The second Pokémon she had ever gotten,
after a long time,
had come out of hiding.
She sang a beautiful song while this happened,
and it seemed to make the forest sit back up again.
"Primarina! Retreat!" Primarina zapped back into her Pokéball,
as Cinderace and Melody continued throughout the leafy, dark path...

Twilight beamed, as the stars floated in the night sky;
"Cinderace! Retreat!" the echo rang through the forest.
The stars was enough light;
Just enough to see the path.
Melody hadn't seen the sun,
for about a year,
after the "dark pulse" arrived.
A day was about a year,
she figured,
as she walked the sturdy path;
Melody, after all of the tragic events,
felt relieved.
There was nothing bothering her;
at least not too much.
She was thirsty,
and hungry,
but she saw a source of water and some fruit next to it,
nearby.
About right across where she was.
She skittered across quickly, and took a look at the water gleaming in the sky;
It was clear and clean, as far as she knew, and she took a few gulps and then a few tiny sips,
and grabbed some fruit for herself.
She cleaned it,
and took out a small box in her pocket.
It grew and created a large virtual screen,
in which she tapped the air of,
and a large icy horse popped out.
It neighed, and Melody asked,
"May you please cut this?"
The Glastrier's horn was just able to slice through,
and it dipped it's horn in the water just after to clean off the juice.
It retreated and zapped back into the tiny box,
and the box shrunk.
Melody placed it carefully back in her pocket,
and pushed a small button in the meantime.
She wanted to save this location for later,
just in case.

Melody resorted to sending Spectrier,
a ghoulish ghost horse,
and gave Calyrex the Reins of Unity to bond with it.
Calyrex led the way,
as Melody peacefully sat
at the back.
Spectrier pounded and trotted across the barren land,
reaching far distances never discovered before.
Melody admired the beautiful landscape,
though very flat and dry,
and how it matched the night sky very well.
Melody,
unlike a lot of the other champions,
were very young.
She wasn't able to explore much,
before she challenged the throne.
It was amazing how much land that a Pokémon can travel,
as Melody swore Spectrier had traveled the whole
world. Water glimmered, thorns shined and
her Pokéballs did as well.
It was a beautiful sight.
Moonlight beamed,
starlight bounced,
as she trotted past the many of amazing and amusing things.

Meanwhile,Amyra is riding her Fearow,searching for a safe place for her and her Pokémon to rest in. She has been searching for days,and all her other Pokémons are tired. She looked at the sky and was amazed at how beautiful it is.

Melody wouldn't have noticed,
that anyone was right above her;
unless it was for a Fearow,
as she heard the wingbeats immediately.
Her home town was the Galar Region,
and the Corviknight's wingbeats were silent,
so it was a quick distinction.
She looked above,
and saw Amyra flapping away.
"Hey!" she screamed.
"Down here!"
She told Calyrex,
to steer Spectrier under,
and follow up as much as possible.
Spectrier,
on the other hand,
didn't seem very tired.
One of the perks of being a ghost,
which was very helpful
and handy in this specific
case.
Melody tried desperately to catch up.

Amyra looked down,and saw a girl and a Clayrex riding a Spectrier. She said to her Fearow, "Fearow,lets go down now. Seems like someone is calling me." Her Fearow then landed on the ground. Amyra hopped down Fearow's back.

"Guess I'm not the only one."
Melody said. "What's your name?"
As she waited to respond, she took out a small
box that grew and glew,
and the Spectrier quickly zapped back.
On the other hand,
Melody thought it was best to keep Calyrex with her.

Amyra introduced herself. "I'm Amyra. Who are you?" Fearow is staring at the stranger.

She smiled.
"I'm Melody. Melody Mist."
Calyrex smiled along.

Amyra asked Melody, "So..uh..what are you doing here?" Fearow is staring at Melody distrustingly.

"Doing what you are."
Melody responded.
"Trying to survive."
Melody said quickly after.
"So... you up for a snack? Or a drink? Found a pond."

Amyra responded, "Ok,show me the way!" Fearow screeched. "Fearow,no need to worry about me! I can handle myself,i promise!" Amyra said to her Fearow. She then pulled out an old Pokéball,and shouted, "Fearow,return!" Amyra then sends out her Meganium. "Megani?" Meganium looked around,confused. "Meganium,we're going to a pond" Amyra explained to Meganium.

Melody smiled.
"Alright."
Melody turned around, leading Amyra.
She took out the transportation box link,
and pressed a button.
She was shown a map and how to get to the pond.
Melody lead the way, Calyrex near.

Amyra hopped on Meganium's back. "Meganium,follow her" She commanded her Meganium. They followed Melody.

The dark whispers continued as
Melody walked the dark path,
back to the place
she started.
But when she saw,
it was empty,
and the fruit she had saved,
disappeared.
she knew.
There's more. There's. More.
"Calyrex! Now!"
With a swish of Calyrex' hand,
plants and fruit grew all around the small pond.

Calyrex looked around a smiled.
Even Melody did.
She hadn't seen it happen in a while.
Plants and fruit flourished around,
waiting to be picked.
The pond water reflected the
"never-ending night"
with the moonlight
and stars
dangling around.
"Calyrex, return! Primarina, go!"
Primarina was starting to be used to being sent out again.
"Sparkling Aria!"
A giant, beautiful bubble full of water was created
alongside a beautiful song, and the large bubble popped in the pond water.

Amyra stared in awe and wonder. Her Meganium is amazed at how Melody's Primarina can perform a majestic move.

"Alright!"
"That's done. You can clean the fruit in the water and,
I think Meganium should have Razor Leaf. That should work."
Melody smiled and grabbed a small tangerine for herself,
that she rinsed
and peeled.
She ate a few slices and gave a few to Primarina
and Calyrex.

Amyra responded, "Uhh..Meganium doesn't have Razor Leaf,but she does have Magical Leaf. Would that still work?" Meganium is looking around the scenery.

"Uhh..so i'm from Mahogany Town in Johto,Meganium right here is my starter Pokémon,and i moved out here on a quest of some sort" Amyra said to Melody. "What about you?" She asked.

"Hi! I'm from Wedgehurst in Galar,
and my starter Pokémon was Cinderace.
That's kind of it."

Christine walked around the streets she didn't really know where she was going or where she could be going. This was last for a long time which seemed like eternity to her, and part of her was given up, she just wanted to get back to her old life, as a gym leader who battles against the challengers.

Amyra thought of it. She doesnt know what to do either. "Uhh.....i dont know. Any ideas?" She asked Melody.
