Pure Sadness.
I tried out for Jazz Band a few weeks ago. I tried my best, but my saxophone wasn't cooperating...
So today the results were up, and I didn't get in.
My band teacher PROMISED some 7th graders/Intermediate Band students would get in. And PSH, THAT MEANT THREE. And what pisses me off is that ALL 7th graders in ADVANCED (skipped a level BECAUSE THEY'RE *GREAT*) BAND WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR JAZZ BAND GOT IN.

And what makes it unfair is, there are MANY Alto Sax's in Advanced Band, and SOME TENOR SAXOPHONES AUDITIONED ON ALTO, so that wipes out every chance I get. Well. There's always next year. I didn't tryout for MYSELF, I tried out because my band teacher ORDERED me to, and I ended up getting humiliated.

On the Bright Side (😃), during P.E., we played Tug Of War against other P.E. classes, since there were 10 girls and 30 boys in mine (-.-), the girls were forced to. But the thing I noticed was, the two 7th grade girls in Jazz Band were on the other team, and my team won (5 vs. 5) in like 3 seconds. 😋

I'm sorry...my jazz band's kinda hard on saxes too. I think the reason why I don't even have to try hard to get in is cuz I play flute and they need as much flute power as they can get. (we're not very loud)

Don't worry, that doesn't mean you're not good! You'll most definitely get in next year! 😊

D: That stinks, but you know you can't always ace l your auditions. What you have to do is make your worst better than someone else's best 😋 Hehe I audition for stuff a lot. But I can't do jazz 0.0 improv *deerintheheadlightslook*
