Just returned. any advice?

So I have been gone for several years now and decided to check this site out again and a lot of new stuff is here now. I would love advice on where to start with things again. I know the cave gives out common creatures. I would love some advice on how to earn EC and CC again. I have some retired items but I have no clue if they are worth anything or when they may have been retired.

@misty_rose_ Some people look for retired cc travel so that is a good way to make cc/ec, you could feed creatures or get the cave monthlies and sell the cave monthlies for ec

I would check the site blog posts and recent forums to get caught up and see what is new here. Also, the gobbler hunt is back you could join (I don't think it is too late yet since some people were able to get like 500 gobblers in one day)
