Hey! I just started a few months back, and I've been curious about this. There are more than a few VEND creatures I'm saving for, as well as a couple SAR ones, but it takes forever to gain enough EC to be able to save enough to buy the SARC creatures, and (after doing some calculations) I've come to learn the VEND ones are nearly just as expensive. I guess I'm just trying to figure out if I need to prioritize and get them in a specific order, or if I shouldn't worry about them leaving. If certain ones are leaving soon, I'd very much like to know so I can prioritize... and so I know how quickly I need to be gaining EC to get the ones I want before they disappear lol. Any help is wonderful, thank you!!

SARC - I don't think so. Not 100% certain, but I can't remember one retiring. It may be because the SARC "fundraises" the money. As in every so often they will start research into a new, unique creature and players can donate ec towards it.

VEND - Definitely. However there is a 1 week notice period before it disappears. The VEND machine is a way for old, retired non-CSP creatures to be re-released. As a result, only a certain amount of each species is actually available. Once that limit is reached, the notice goes out (example the Florn was placed in 24th Dec, warning issued 6th Jan, left again 12th Jan). So while creatures do retire, new ones can also become available, and there is a chance that a creature will return again.
