Monthly Challenge - Already Collected?

Hey! I just noticed that it has a checkmark next to
"Complete Monthly Challenge
Complete 25 days worth of dailies for your monthly reward of 100 CaveCash.".

However, I haven't completed it yet. I haven't logged on for a couple of days but I was at day 23 I think? I still have time to complete it but it says I've already collected the CC voucher, which I haven't. Could someone explain this?

Let's say hypothetically I was only at day 20 today. Would it automatically show me a checkmark since I wouldn't be able to make it to 25 days.

Please help!

Not sure about the days thing, but I do know you can only collect the CC on the day it's awarded. I've missed one lot because I forgot to hit the collect button and it was a check mark the next day.
