The girl pointed an arrow at Evan face, he slapped her hand away. In one swift motion he moved his Scythe from his side to the side of her neck. A small bead of blood dripped from where the blade touched her skin. "I wouldn't move if I were you. It hurts less when your head comes off if you just stay still." The fear of killing someone left Evan, and was replaced with the anger and hatred he felt for the Capitol. Killing this girl would be easy, all he had to do was flick his wrist. A small bug landed on his shoulder, and instinctively he flinched to get it to leave. As the muscles in his shoulder moved the blade cut further into the tributes neck. Blood began to pool on her neck, the wound was much deeper that Evan had originally thought.

She ran form the other tribute. She made camp in a small cove. She was hoping nobody would find her. While she tried to rest, she tightly gripped her dagger, ready to stab someone, if they tried to kill her. She nibbled on a cracker, and she layed on her bag, just to comfort her. She looked at her paper, who was signed by her best friend at home, Mikya.

He also hated insults.He watched as the scene rolled out between her and Evan, and before he knew it he was standing before a fast-growing pool of blood. Horror filled his eyes and he let go of his knife.

As soon as Evan whipped out his scythe, she darted out and jumped from tree to tree, the rustling of the leaves covered by the tension on the ground. She made for a fat willow tree and hid herself in the wispy fronds. She hoped nobody would notice her disappearance...

Flaeq heard immature arguing just maybe half a mile away from her current spot. Climbing the tree she was resting upon, she took off, swinging from branch to branch until she was high above these careless other Tributes. When she found a spot to land --somewhere in a mossy spot-- Flaeq let go of her branch and dropped soundlessly in front of her soon-to-be allies with a smirk of satisfaction."Well hello," she said slyly. "You might want to shut up a bit. Who knows who else could be around here?" Slowly, she walked up. They were all armed especially one boy with a deadly scythe.

@bubble_treeJoshua narrowed his eyes. His hand was back at his knife in no time, and this time he drew it out. However, his eyes kept straying to the terrible mess."Who cares who else is around here?" he asked, tightening his grip on his knife. He was ready to throw it at any time, and that was just what he was planning.

Evan looked towards a quiet voice coming from the trees, his Scythe still buried in the girl's neck. Josh was talking to her as the girl in front of them was slowly bleeding to death. A bit of blood god on Evan's shoe, "Not cool. Josh, enough people have died today, lets not make another big bloody mess for the Capitol to clean up just yet." Evan pulled his Scythe from the girl's neck, further opening the wound. He pointed his District Partner, "You'll live another day if you let us leave." He gestured to the blood stained grass around the Cornucopia, "Enough blood has been spilt already."

"You're very...flinchy. Loosen up. I'll tell you for a first. You can't always do much with that knife." She eyed the pathetic little knife in his hands. Remembering a knife incident back in 7, it didn't seem so bad now. The worst he could possibly do was slit a throat. And that would only get him more attention to be killed.

@glados@bubble_treeEvan raised his blood covered Scythe, "I warned you." He charged the other Tribute,but she side stepped the blade completely the blade. He swore and attacked again, but this time he sliced open her calf knocking her over.

@dewpaw"AHHHHHHH!" Flaeq screamed in agony with her head pulled back. The pain scorched up through her leg. he was watching, then turned back. Still with her bow and spinner arrows, she took the arrow and directly threw it at the stupid boy. He had no idea how dead he possibly was. The arrow was as efficient as it would've been shot with the bow. It sliced right through left hamstring and went through the other side, hurtling him forwards with a disturbing scream. His scythe was dropped. Painfully pulling herself forward, Flaeq grabbed the scythe and was about ready to slice his head off. Instead, she threw it to the nearest tree and it became wedged in deep. He groaned in pain. "Shut up, you reckless boy." He was in no condition to move.Flaeq pulled herself up with all her might and hopped pathetically into a dark void that was thick trees."I can't believe he was my district partner..." Flaeq mumbled.@glados: Going back to our convo"Yeah right. Where are you from anyway? I've handled axes bigger than your head at the age of nine that could slice your body in half and so on. That little knife could do me well for weeks in the woods and snow. I know more about sharp edges and trees than you'll ever know."@dewpaw: We're district partners and you maim me? đą -_- We're both from 4 if you remember

@gladosOk, so Evan ran at Flaq* and grazed her leg with his Scythe. Then she fell on the ground and threw one of her fancy Capitol arrows at him. Then threw his Scythe into a tree, and hobbled away.Then Evan isolated the poison to a small area of his leg, and got his Scythe back. Another cannon went off, making Flaq* think Evan had died, and then he said"We should get moving."Oh, and that other girl is just laying at Josh's feet bleeding to death. I suspect if she doesn't react soon she will die. âšī¸*spelling fail sorry đ

"Ughhhh!" Flaeq moaned continuously but she much too far for 4 Boy to reach her if he lived. Two cannons went off while she was hopping. Shaking even, Flaeq took off the black pack she almost forgot and fumbled through. Inside were two water bottles and two towels: one small and one very large. a packet of knives were in the front pocket. The second pocket and four packets of dried beef, enough to last a month. "How luck am I" she thought.She wrapped the large towel around her almost severed lower leg. A sigh of relief passed through her as nice cold numbing went from the towel to her calf. If must have had something added to it, like the cloths that were used in 4 when someone was bitten by the sea life.****@dewpaw: NOT a fancy Capitol arrow. Not capitol-made at all. It was one of her personal arrows she could make herself with just a thick twig and a knife. And her name: Flaeq is said like "Flake" if you guys saw that. đ@glados: We're were talking about the knife conversation before Evan almost cut my leg in half. đ

Evan walked slowly in the opposite direction that the 4 girl had gone, "You coming or what?" He yelled back at Joshua. Evan continued into the mountains, not waiting for an answer. He had his Scythe and Trident(just incase he lost his Scythe), and his backpack that held the key to his survival.@bubble_treeI saw the thing about the name, but I fail at spelling. And I didn't know that she makes her own arrows, that's really cool! I actually do archery in real life, and I made my first bow out of a branch I found in a field xD

With the towel wrapped around her leg securely, Flaeq felt much, /much/ better. She jogged to the place of the little incident with her district partner and found it empty. Low rustling came in the opposite direction she had come from. With a face full of anger and regret of what she was about to do, Flaeq walked fast to their position. When in sight of them on the mountain, Flaeq grabbed an arrow and threw it to a tree next to Evan's head. He whipped around and was about ready to throw his trident. "Don't you try me," Flaeq growled. "No matter how much I hate you for trying to kill me, we're district partners. I'm going to travel along with you." Now she was in Evan's face. "I come with you if you want to survive past the others. You're born in 4, aren't you? Well I'm born in 7 and i was raised in 7, so I know more about wilderness than you." Her last remark. Now they just glared endlessly at each other.

@bubble_tree"He's from 5, doesn't like people much." Evan moved a large boulder out of the way, revealing a small cave. "Here we go! Now that's a shelter!" It was starting to get dark as Evan pushed his way through a curtain of moss. The cave was large enough for at least 5 people, and it even had a small waterfall and pool in the back. "I call next to the waterfall!" Evan ran over to the crystal clear pool of water. It reminded him of his room back in 4. "Come on in!" He called to the girl and Josh.

"Eww." Flaeq was astonished of the cave's beauty but also disgusted. She never liked much fancy things. Things were always better when simple. And Evan seemed like a young boy getting a new toy. Even Flaeq's room wasn't as extravagant as the cave. All it had was a simple bed, a wooden desk, a lamp, some pencils, books and shelves and a few more necessary items for everyday life. She rummaged through her black pack and founder herself a standard sleeping bag wrapped to its tiniest dimension. She then sat down next to Evan who was as happy as a little puppy would be.

Evan's smile stretched from ear to ear, and he bounced up and down in excitement while unpacking his backpack. The back was a dark green color, almost black. Inside one pocket he found, a few packages of dried meat and fruit, about 10 bags of pre prepared meals that you only needed to add boiling water to the bag to make, a couple knives, a pair of axes, a large bottle of clean water, a PH tester, and a bottle of iodine. A cannon came from outside, rattling the walls of the cave. "I'm gunna' check and see if this water is safe to drink." Evan dipped one of the many PH strips into the pool of water. The strip had turned a deep blue, but not quite a purple. "It's safe to drink!" He announced as the Capitol anthem began to play.Evan slipped out of the cave to see who had died,the boy from 1, the both from 2, both from 3, the boy from 6, both from 7, the girl from 9, the boy from 10, and the boy from 11. Evan had killed the Girl from 2, the Boy from 3, the Girl from 7, and worst of all, the Girl from 9. She had looked up into his eyes, a single tear rolling down her cheek as he had sliced her in half.The anthem played, interrupting his thoughts, as the seal of the Capitol stretched across the sky.
