@lexian thank you for doing this for new players! I think 5-6 creatures is enough because some new players quit after a short time and the creatures would be in danger of dying (unless you also give immortals)

@gngdia - That Makes sense! 😄 I've only ever managed to get a few Immortals on my Main, so dropping the number down to 6 Beasties takes the pressure off of trying to make everything Immortal - It also means with less Beasties in a Lot, I can make Even More Trades for New Users 😊

I'll get onto that now 😄👍

The Link Above 'Should' still take Users to @Elijah's Trades, they'll have 2 Rarer Beasties and 4 Common/Current Releases, I've kept it at 10 Trades for now as I don't want to Flood the Trade Page, but the Benefit of Dropping it down to 6 Beasties now is that I've got A Good Few left over for when things start picking up 😁🎁

It's not much, but feels Fair 😊

Naturally My Mind is already thinking ahead for what I could do for certain events and such - but we've actually had no takers yet, so I will have to wait and see what happens - More time to think/take on Suggestions 😄🐾

New Users need only offer One Item - Any Item on the Trade - Even if it's found in 'Donations' and as soon as I know, the Trade is Yours! 😁💚

08/07/26: I've just Updated the Newbie Packs - Adding a 7th Beastie, so you get 4 'Commons' and 3 Seasonal/Retired Beasties when you Offer.

Still surprised nobody has offered on any of these, then again, it's apparently only been a week...? Feels Like Forever! 🤣

This Account (@Elijah) is Swiftly running out of Cove Space though, so I may have to start Auctioning off more Common Beasties to make room for New Releases/More Interesting Creatures to give away...lol 😅

@lexian Just a thought, but do you take donations for your newbie trades? I tend to get cave monthlies in excess and I'd be happy to put aside a couple to send to you for this purpose from time to time.

@kataclysm I need to try and get a little more space on @elijah but I'm certainly not against donations - Especially if they help make the Trades more appealing to the New Users 😊👍 I can always trade you a few Commons in Exchange for them as well 😁

Been Nearly a Month and no Takers... Does anyone have Any suggestions? I'd still very much like to Give these Trades Away... Preferably to New Users to Help - Like the Initial idea, but It's starting to look like nobody really wants them... 😟

I'm new, and this is a lovely thing you're trying to do here, but personally it's a bit over facing. I would like two of them, and not even from the same groups, but not five.

The other three that I didn't want would just make me kind of stressed, every time I saw them ☹️

@ygaria That's absolutely no Problem! Thanks lots for Saying! (It's all one Huge Learning Curve for me) - So perhaps Split them up into twos? Maybe 3 at a Push 🤔 (What are the two Beasties you Fancied? I can send them over for you if you like?) 😄

But yes, I think you should split them.

Seven is a lot when you're starting out and don't know what anything is or aren't that sure what it will look like.

If you go to the cave regularly as well, which I did when I started, it's easy to feel swamped by eggs if you don't feel you can leave any behind.

I know what you mean by feeling Swamped - Especially as you've gotta feed all these guys as well! I'd definitely feel guilty if I couldn't care for them all/have to leave someone behind because Managing Online/Work/Life is Tricky.. 😅

What I'll do then, is set up One Large Trade with a Selection of Beasties New Folks can pick from, then they can post their selection Here and I can literally just send them over 😄 (Speaking of which, you should Hopefully have received a One Way Request from @Elijah with your Beasties) 😊🎁
