Returning Player, unsure of Frozen Roo worth?

Hey all,
So I'm a returning player from quite a long time ago (think a decade). I have a frozen Roo named Toi, but not the EC to unfreeze it nor any idea of what creatures might be of equivalent value for it. Thinking of trading it to someone who could use it for their collection, maybe unfreeze it and might have a spare older retire that I might like. Consider this an open discussion! Thanks!

hi @pathogenia and welcome back to EggCave! there's a Creature Value Guide made by a lovely user that you can always check to see the value of a pet. The Roo is listed there at 500-3k CC. Because yours is frozen I guess you could ask for 2-3k CC? You can also check other creatures of similar values if you're planning to trade it 😊

Thank you so much for your reply that's incredibly helpful! I think I would rather trade for a similarly valued creature than the CC up front, this guide should be wonderful! I appreciate it!

Another factor in the value is the age / date stolen and the way it was acquired. The Roo has been rereleased at least once through the VEND machine. Those ones are valued more towards the 500 CC mark. Yours is an original release date, which is another reason it is more towards the pricier end.

It could also mean yours may be harder to trade. Not impossible, but harder as anyone who just wants "A Roo, any Roo" will aim towards the cheaper ones, but those who want the OG Roo, or the Christmas Day date, will be more interested in yours and willing to pay more for those aspects.


As a related side note incase you where not aware, VEND creatures are marked on their profiles, eg My spare Roo.
