So, one of my creatures is about to evolve and it's still at level one. I know that evolution ≠ leveling, so how do I do it? Does it take a while? Is there a way to speed up the process? (Sorry for so many questions!!)

@batsandrats
Your right in that evolution does not equate to levels.

Levels are based on all 3 stats (clicks, views and feeds). The formula is:
(Feeds+Clicks+Views) / 300 = Level

So your profile Honk is
411+142+100 = 635
635/300 = 2.17 This number is rounded up so the level is 3.

Once a creature reaches level 20, it is considered Immortal, and will not die regardless of it's happiness level. (In case you didn't know,, yes, creatures can die if their happiness % gets to low for too long. Feeding is the most common way to boost happiness, but there are more ways.)

Evolution is based on only one stat. That stat, and the requirements vary from creature to creature. You can see what your creatures need on the "Your Creatures" page (can easily be accessed via the number of creatures in the info box to the right or bottom of the page) or look for most creatures on the species Archives page.

Amounts do vary greatly. For example the Jester only takes one View to fully evolve. It was an April Fools Day prank creature. You got it, went to look at it, and it evolved (It was an interesting day). On the other end of the spectrum, I have a Kendo that is level 119, but only the first stage (hatched/child), and it's not the worst.
