Creature Release Week?

I was looking in the Archives and it said some creatures were only given out during Creature Release Week. What is CRW?

@pegasasu One week every year, a new cave creature is released every day of the week.
Usually they are only avaliable for that week.
(saying this off memory, shoot me if i'm wrong lul)
