"Wha-?" Flame returned to consciousness "What's going on? Do I have a concussion?" All she remembered was that she had hurled a flame tornado, an attack she usually couldn't do, and had been swallowed by it. What had happened? She struggled for words.

@angel_star
BTW, is there anyone controlling lightning? I think Flame should have a brother who does that 😋

"Hmm... You've woken. Lie down. Close your eyes. This may... taste foul," Will coaxed.

LOL I wanted to make a Zeus parody, except Flame's brother is not a very head god 😋

"Drink this... what? For the record, fuel tastes good and water tastes terrible to me. Also, if it's spicy, all the better," By this speech, it was obvious she wasn't resigning to injury.

"Hmm.. You don't need to know. Now drink. Then later I'll get some hot chocolate..." Will encouraged, then dashed off to where Julia was.

@angel_star Sorry, I went to eat lunch.

Sapphiria unrolled the ice scroll Julia had given her earlier. 'There must be another healing spell...' Her eyes skimmed the scroll until it came onto the heading "Healing". There was another spell.

She waved her hand over Julia, ice crystals and frost formed over her, along with the aura she already casted. "When Frost Heal and Ice Aura are casted together, the healing rate is tripled".

@evolutary

dw 😋

btw
if she does a powerful spell, I would liket o ask that something happens to her. for now. Later, since she gets more powerufl, maybe not but...

--

Will saw that Julia's eyes were still closed, in a peaceful trancelike state. She needed to time to heal. What Sapphiria had done couldn't do anymore.

@angel_star Her healing is still minor, and tripling only makes it a little stronger. Okay, I'll think of something.
---
Healing Julia took more energy than she thought. Attack and defense spells did not tire her as much, but because she did not specialise in healing, she had to put a lot more thought and concentration in. With the healing energy she had left, she casted an ice aura - weaker than usual - around herself.

@evolutary

oh ok

---

Will placed a hand on Sapphiria's back.

"Release the spell. Do you not trust in my abilities? I can heal too. Otherwise I would never be the Diviner's messenger. Sleep. That is the best medicine," Will smiled.

I DIDN'T ASK A QUESTION. AND WHY DO YOU KEEP SAYING THAT WE SHOULD GET MY BODY BACK FROM HELL? ONE OF US HAD TO STAY. I STAYED. I - WELL, MY BODY - SHOULDN'T LEAVE, BECAUSE A DEAL'S A DEAL AND THAT WOULD BE LIKE CHEATING.

"Well.. what did you receive? From your body sacrifice?" Will asked, lifting an eyebrow.

WE WERE IN HELL. DEATH LET US GO FREE IF ONE OF US STAYED BEHIND. OTHERWISE, WE WOULD ALL HAVE STAYED. BESIDES, I AGREED TO HIS TERMS. IF HE HAD FORCED ME TO STAY, IT WOULD BE DIFFERENT. BUT I STAYED THERE WILLINGLY.

'You did tell me I had to do more. But all right,' She released the spell and felt her healing energy flow back to her.

NO, IT'S OK. WITH ENOUGH TIME AND PRACTICE, I CAN EVENTUALLY MAKE MYSELF A NEW BODY.

@evolutary

"Sit down, please. I'll get you something hot to drink. Or do you want cold?"

---
Will lost his temper. "Things created my Substance will NEVER have a true soul. Do you understand that? Even if you do create another body, you will need someone to help you hold it! Beings without a soul will dissipate. You only survived because you were in the Underworld! Otherwise your soul would go floating somewhere! There are multiple solutions. Negotiating with Death is the easiest. Do you understand?"

Cily/Elegant took a pawful of Substance and began to mold it.

"Or.. you could ask the Diviner. But don't waste your energy," Will snapped, butting into Cily's mind - hard. "OR, you can get me to transfer your souls. But I don't know how to do that,"

WHAT? THIS? THIS DOESN'T TAKE ENERGY - JUST TIME. AND I'M JUST FOOLING AROUND. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT I'M MAKING YET. GOT ANY IDEAS?

'Or something you can wield,' Sapphiria said suddenly.

Cily/Elegant concentrated on the Substance, making it long and thin...

An hour later, she presented the finished sword to Will. It was made of bronze and shone like gold, with a walnut-sized ruby inset into the hilt. It was long and graceful, with an edge that seemed so sharp it could cut through diamond like butter.

WELL, WHAT DO YOU KNOW? I'M GETTING USED TO CLAWS. BUT OF COURSE, I COULD DO A LOT BETTER.

I'LL WORK ON IT.

Another hour later, the sheath was finished. It was just as beautiful as the sword, and the blade would slide in and out without any effort.

With a shrug, she gulped down whatever it was. Shaking from the after taste, she thought about her brother's say about this. "Now Flame," she could hear him say "You ABSOLUTELY cannot use your Fire tornado! Keep your calm, and, well, thing will be alright, I guess...."

'I will train as well.'

Again, she practised throwing her ice-shards. One by one as she threw them, it sparkled in the sunlight as they glided through the air and as she summoned her ice shield just in time, the shards embedded themselves into the ice.

"Here," Will said, passing a hot chocolate to her. She would need it, as well as the medicine, as well as rest. People were so rash these days...

---

Will grinned. "Let's see how fast you can throw them. Try to beat me. Oh yeah, and I might be attacking your mind at the same time. Wanna go t o the clearing? We shouldn't disturb Julia."

'I'm not that good with shard throwing, but all right. I don't need that much concentration with throwing shards, since it's more physical.'
