Just before she allowed her mind to be opened, Sepenta lunged again.

With fear, Zeus sent a lightning bolt directly onto Serpenta... and she became a ball of ash, which rematerialised and slithered away, before being struck a second time. "Darned stupid Serpenta.."

Nah, she is technically immortal. If something that should have killed her hits her, she de-materialises and then re-materialises. But it takes her a few days to recuperate.

Lazily, as though dealing with a mere pest, Zeus fired a lot of thunderbolts at Serpenta, who attempted to fight back.

Sapphiria raised her hand and icicles surrounded Serpenta and trapped her and threw ice shurikens which pinned her down. I'm getting better at throwing, she thought.
