My mom just made me return my guinea pigs!!!*tear*

My older sister bought me the 2 cutest guinea pigs I'd ever seen. We didn't want to tell my mom about them because she wouldn't let us keep them. We were just going to wait until the 14 days was up and you couldn't return them. My sister is 20 and she paid for everything and is helping me take care of them. I guess my mom just has a control issue. They won't even bother her!! It would be different if she was deathly afraid of them or allergic, but she isn't. I'm crushed. I'm not going to be able to focus in school tomorrow.☹️ Plus, I got so excited over them and really attached to them, and they're just taken away. I'm so sad.☹️ Can anyone give me some advice that could possibly make me feel better? I don't think I can ever forgive my parents for this. ping me

We both tried to explain. We have 2 dogs, but those are fine and we've even had guinea pigs in the past and she didn't care! I think she just likes to know that she's in control even though my sister is an adult

I am sooooo sorry! Parents can ruin the fun sometimes. I remember that happened to me when my snake died... ( RIP Corny ☹️ ) My only advice is.... think good thoughts! A positive mind heals all! @rileytibbles

@rileytibbles That really sucks!!! I've owned guinea pigs and they are the cutest things ever!!! And not hard to look after either. To be honest, the fish I have right now are probably HARDER to take care of XD And after dogs they'd be a piece of cake, so I don't see what her problem is! 😱
Go on strike! XD

I just talked to her and asked her if she had a valid reason, and she said she didn't...IDK what her problem is...but it bugs the crap outta me!!! She then told me ''Riley, its hard being the meanie"

way ahead of you, but my sister is at the store RIGHT now. What if the next time I walk into the petstore, i see them, all cooped up in cages and lonely. I would break down and cry. Thats how much i loved them
