You should check the temperature of your tank, also your water might be to hard for the fish. Some pet shops will do a test on your water to see if there is any chemicals in their that are harming the water. Did you just set up the tank and put water in it? All new fish tanks should be filled and set up for a few days-some times even a week- before fish are added.

@crazy4lifethe temperature is just right for the fishes and every month i check the hardness of the water and this tank is 2 years old.But maybe the fishes that came from that store was sick all the time and the fishes were swordtails.😱my opaline gouramis are big enough to lay eggs but they don't do that.☹️do they need something special?😱

Are you also checking the other levels of the tank?General Hardness, Carbonate Hardness, pH, Nitrites and Nitrates? Here is a link for common reasons for fish deaths:http://www.ehow.com/about_6317995_fish-dying-aquarium.htmlHere is a link about breading your opaline gouramis:http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=830+882+958&pcatid=958

@sanibel_18 I don't actually know that much about breeding fish, but I always enjoy looking around the internet and learning new things. Here is a good website I found on breeding Betta fish. http://www.aquariumfish.net/catalog_pages/bettas/betta_breeding.htmThe link above recommends raising the fry in a pond environment. It appears to be very hard to raise fry in a tank environment. I don't know what you are hoping to do, but I did find a site with advice on how to care for the fry in a tank:http://www.ask-the-vet.com/breeding-betta-fish.htmFor more information on your betta fish, this is a website exclusively for betta owners that you might like:http://www.bettafish.com/
