Hello!! Create an Acrostic Poem using the word
THANKSGIVING -

T urkey gobbles, 'don't eat me'
H ungry people sip their tea
A unts and uncles come to play
N ibblin' on a peach souffle
K ick-off time starts at noon
S ippin' on some Daniel Boon
G ames galore all day long
I would rather play ping-pong
V isitors come wish us well
I beckon them to sit a spell
N ow the time is gettin' near
G rab a couch and nap my dear

Turkey that we eat till we are full.
Ham that we also could eat.
Apple pie that we eat after turkey and ham.
Napkins to wipe off the food.
Kookies 😃
Stuffing to stuff us even more full!
Gift of family togetherness.
Ice cream for kookies and apple pie!
Very happy famly day!
In the living room, we watch football.
Night comes and we go to bed.
Good night and a Happy Thanksgiving!

Okay

These turkeys are delicous
Hand me the stuffing
Apple pie and creamy pudding are the most delightful
Never make a frown while eating turkey
Krosuants anybody
Stuff in the stuffing now
Gratefulness is the key
I have stuffing on my shoe
Very delightful food we have
I am enjoying this food
Night is when everyone leaves

A day or more
N ever four,
K eep me away from you!
S illy turkey, come and play,
G o roast in the oven all day.

Thistle hides the gentle down of
Hidden turkeys, skulking around,
Arrogantly they sneak on by the
Needless traps of hunters shy.
Kindly it seems to one or three that they
Should be treated with no need to flee.
Given it is that they're good meat but
Isn't it cruel, the way that we treat,
Vindictive in fashion, the turkeys who leap,
Idle till now but the time comes they sneak,
Never a sound that comes from their feet?
Gentle are they, but shall we eat?

The fourth thursday of every novermber
Help your self to all the food
Apples and carrots
Not just turkey
Keep that food on your plate!!
Stuff the turkey full and wide
Gravy on those mashed potatoes and the turkey
I hope that you do like
Very many choices to chose from
It must be hard to pick!
Nothing that you cant eat!
Get over here to come and eat!

Thanksgiving day

November's Joy

Turkeys go hiding from the guns
Happy mothers make their hot-crossed buns.
Apples hang from painted trees
Nine apples swaying in the breeze.
Knowing that the party starts at 4,
Salsa and chips are the first to be served.
Genuine smiles and friends galore,
I run out to greet everyone at the door.
Vintage decorations are scattered about,
I want this joy to continue, day in and day out.
Night time is coming, the room seems so sad,
Good memories, though, this was the best Thanksgiving we've ever had!

Thin layers of warm leaves litter the autumn floor,
Haughty leaves cling on their trees
And fight against the breeze.
Naughty children tiptoe down the stairs,
Kidnapping innocent pumpkin pies-
Stealing terrified breads of rye.
Gluttonous, pig-faced uncles
Insane, obsessed aunts
Vandalize once clean plates
"I dare say these stains be permanent"
Now scrubbing and scrubbing, using
Grease of your elbow, will the dishes ever end?
