Power Outage

Last night I was having a Halloween party, I had invited up to 20+ people but all had other plans; Football game, birthday party, work, etc. so only two people had shown up, but we had all the food and deserts to ourselves.

It had started snowing again but had gotten more heavy,
turns out the football game had been cancelled, but even so parents were not wanting to drive in the current weather.

Around 11 PM or so, the power had gone out, we had gone in panic considering how we had been talking about ghosts and demons and such. The power had turned back on so we just started watching Bolt.

The movie had ended, but around 2-3 AM the power had turned off again. This time one of the guests had fallen asleep so once the power had gone out the first thing my friend does is flip out and try to reach out to me, and next thing you know she's grabbing me by the neck and choking me.

We had a power outage once, it lasted like an hour, but it wasn't because it was snowing. I have no idea why it happened, but me and my mum were the only ones at home. We started playing cards using candlelight until the power came back.

@Dawnie - She couldn't see me in the dark so she panicked and tried grabbing onto me, she didn't realize she had been choking me by the neck until I grabbed my iPod to shine a light on the room so she can see.

@Lily- - This one had lasted about two hours, me and my friend had just used our iPods for light source and we decided to play Truth, we didn't want to do any dares considering it would've been a wrong time to play it.

@Dawnie - Bahah, I don't think she'd choke me on purpose.
Although I might have to keep my suspicions. JKJK.

I had a power outage too,

I was going to some haunted house with family and friends, and my parents tohught, even though it was snowing, that we should still go because it would be worse tomrrow (which is today).

So while we're driving there, my dad's complaining about the car the whole time, the snow is really hard, we're driving slowly on the highway and still sliding a little bit.

Once we got to the haunted house and were ready to leave, we drovew to our friend's house (my dad wouldn't stop complaining and my mom was stressed), and we stayed there for a few hours.

At about 11 pm, the lights went out, and there was lightning outside. We ran around the house, frantically searching for candles.

We left their house at about midnight, annd while we drove down the dark street to get back home, tree branches were all over the rode. People were swerving to the other side of the road and such to avoid the branches.

When we had gotten back to our town, the streets were silent, and every single store and house was pitch-black. Our house was out of power, too. We lit up a couple candles and put them around the house, by the time we had lit all the candles, the lights *coincidentally* flicker back on again. xD

Although, I hope for more storms...that way no school...

I'm lucky. People just up the street don't have cable or internet. But I have power, cable, and internet. My aunt is recovering from breast cancer and she lost power and it's freezing so she's coming to stay with us. And I don't have school tomorrow. 😊
