If you are looking for something special
look for a tree that you find your self drawn to
ask it for a piece, thank it, take the piece, then use tools to shape it to your desired look. The one I made was from a Dogwood that I took off most, not all bark, burned runes in the handle, then covered with candle wax and worked in the wax.
