BoulderStar stalked through his camp. Even though no other clans had settled down yet there were many rouges that could cause trouble or worse yet form another clan! EarthClan was independent. It needed no help. EarthClan would survive with only the help of StarClan!
The fact that there was only 3 mice and a shrimpy songbird in the fresh kill pile was NOT helping.
"TALLCLAW!" He called to his lifelong friend.
"No need to shout." A voice came from behind him.
"Sorry, old friend, BoulderStar grumped, I didn't know you were there. Can you organize a hunting patrol?"
"Yes I can." TallClaw replied, What about MoonSilver? Is she okay?"
"Fine, she's just recovering from falling from that tree." BoulderStar said trying to sound cheerful. But inside he was very worried for his daughter.

ShallowEye

"Well good news and bad news." ShallowEye told BoulderClaw.
"Bad news first." He said trying to sound though.
"Well, MoonSilver can't be deputy anymore."
ShallowEye told him.
"SHE WHAT?" BoulderStar roared.

"SHE'S WHAT?" BoulderStar shouted again
"Shhhh." Shalloweye scolded

TallClaw

RedFoot, WeatherHeart, PebbleSilk, HoneyFlowet and RockMelt. He chose. The yonguns needed to get a mate. Fast. The group stalked to the forest. After a few minutes PebbleSilk shot off after a rabbit. TallClaw watched the gleam in RockPelt's eyes with satisfaction. Now where was that mouse brain HoneyFlower? A shriek cut the chilly air.

HoneyFlower

Pain. Blood. Hunger. Pain. She felt herself being carried- no dragged across the forest floor. No not forest. She was in the marsh! She let a groan escape her. A paw cuffed her ear. Her eyes snapped open and she got a good look at her captors. They were two strays and a young kittypet mother with five dirty kits.
"Do you eat bones?" A tan one squeaked.
"Sometimes." HoneyFlower hissed.
Another cuff.
"Now boys." A she-cat scolded.

"Who are you?" HoneyFlower asked bodley.
"I'm Shank." One of the strays said. "Your are?"
"HoneyFlower." She replied
"Good." The kittypet said
"What?" She asked confused
"We're going to start a clan like yours." Will you help? The other stray asked. "I'm Will by the way."
"Sure." She said I'll start with Kits.
"Age of kits: 0 to 6 moons Where kits sleep Nursery What kits do: get to know the Clan members, play in the nursery
Then apprentices are: Age of apprentices: At least 6 moons Where apprentices sleep Apprentices? Den What apprentices do: Responsible for chores around camp, such as tending to the elders; train for battle with their mentors; participate in battles; hunt for the Clan
Warriors: Where warriors sleep: Warriors? Den What warriors do: Patrol borders; keep fresh-kill pile supplied; defend Clanmates against attacks from enemy cats or predators; mentor apprentices

"Leaders are very important, they get nine lives from StarClan." Where leaders sleep: Leader?s Den What leaders do: Receive 9 lives from StarClan; choose mentors for new apprentices; lead Clan into battle; speak for Clan at gatherings
Elders: Where elders sleep: Elders? Den What elders do: Enjoy respect from their Clanmates for the work they have put in as warriors; keep Clan history alive by passing down old stories."
