UPDATE: People can still join up until page 6!

The year is 3,000,000 B.C. on Earth. However, it is not how scientists far in the future think it to be. Two exotic (alien) races from a planet thousands of light-years away are living in Europe as rivals, each calling the other "the Foe". One, the Tanu, are tall and graceful, and have metapsychic powers brought to operancy by the use of golden neck-bands called "torcs". The other, the Firvulag, are short and hideous, but are ultrapowerful in the powers of creativity and psychokinesis.

Enough backstory - from here, I can describe as we go along! 😸

Anyway, metapsychic powers are basically powers of the mind. There are five kinds:

1)Creativity: the ability to create illusions, change shape and manipulate energy. The Firvulag are described as being naturally gifted at creativity, often using it to assume monstrous forms. More powerful individuals could use it to throw lightning bolts and so forth.

2)Coercion: the ability of metapsychic mind control over other people.

3)Psychokinesis: (or PK) the ability to move physical objects through space metapsychically.

4)Farsensing: the ability to communicate with others and to sense remotely via metapsychic means.

5)Redaction: the ability of psychic healing and, to a certain extent, mind reading.

Well, the first book is "The Many-Colored Land".
Brief summary of the beginning:
There is a time-gate (one-way time travel) found in Europe in 2030 AD that leads to the same area in Pliocene times. (i.e. about 3,000,000 BC)
People go through it for various reasons, expecting to live a natural and peaceful life.
They discover that there are high-tech aliens living there and are forced to join the Tanu (who are closer to the time-gate than the Firvulag, and so have the advantage)

Actually, Firvulag basically *never* look like their actual self. Well, except when they're with only other Firvulag.

And, I forgot to mention that the Firvulag have a subcategory - the Howlers. The Howlers aren't really *that* ugly but are instead hideous monsters in their real forms. For example, one of the more decent-looking Howlers could have one eye, blue fur, and three arms. A more repulsive Howler could have tentacles. They aren't always even humanoid. But the Howlers are also more powerful than regular Firvulag.

I'mma going to make a Howler charrie 😊

This RP is based *completely* on a book series. I got "the Foe" from the book and it is used here the same way it is used in the book. The Tanu call the Firvulag "the Foe", and the Firvulag call the Tanu "the Foe".

And also, what does your Howler look like? And btw, Howlers are monster-ish. Must be. As in, fur/tentacles/extra limbs/etc.

But, howlers are never really ugly 😋
