Well, I mean, something is better than nothing. But all of a sudden, the straps of some of my tank tops, bras, etc. have been so huge. And it's not really in the chest that is happening, just in the shoulders. Hm, interesting place to begin, weight loss, if that's what you are. .____.

O_o?

@Metaphor Maybe the straps have been loosened? That happened to me before. It was loose. xD
balletninja • 5 November 2011 at 8:04 PM
@metaphor That is good I assume 😊But I really need to get back on my toning routine.Ugh, I wish I could get a gym membership, but 15 is the age you have to be and I am 1 year away.It is more my thighs and buttox area, but my flexibility and stomach toning need work 😃
Deleted • 5 November 2011 at 8:06 PM
@Balletninja I need to tone down my stomach also. XD But thats hard for me because I need to have things with sugar or I get HORRIBLE migraines. It stinks. BLEHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhh
candy_girl_1298 • 5 November 2011 at 8:09 PM
@bluegirl80 same here. i need "toning down" EVERYWHERE! DX@metaphor tighten the straps again, and see if it happens again. it probably wont, shoulders is a wierd place to loose weight :/
Deleted • 5 November 2011 at 8:11 PM
@candy_girl_1298 Hahaha my legs are actually very toned. They just dont look it!
balletninja • 5 November 2011 at 8:12 PM
Like I am lean. I just need to tone and work on my flexibility again. I used to have amazing flexibility but since I have not been in ballet for a while I have lost a bit of it.
candy_girl_1298 • 5 November 2011 at 8:13 PM
@bluegirl80 i dunno if my legs are toned. when i wear skinny jeans i have a small muffin top, so i need to tone down my stomach. oh well.maybe its not fat though, because i am big boned. :/
balletninja • 5 November 2011 at 8:14 PM
@candy_girl_1298 Everyone has a tiny muffin top. Especially when we sit down xD
metaphor • 5 November 2011 at 8:16 PM
Thing is, they're the ones that don't tighten.Maybe it's not the shoulders, just around my back. idk. Anyway, I fit into my goal pants now, so I can't complain.

@Candy_girl_1298 xDDD@BalletninjaEveryone- Wait have you seen those "Tai Bo" "Martial arts" videos with that fat old dude scrunched into a small little leotard. Yes a guy in a leotard. XD
balletninja • 5 November 2011 at 8:21 PM
Nope.Does anyone have a workout that actually works? xD
Deleted • 5 November 2011 at 8:21 PM
Well ROFLROFLROFLROFL ITS SO FUNNY!
metaphor • 5 November 2011 at 8:32 PM
@balletninjaAny physical activity is good. Personally, I just put on music for a half an hour, use my exercise bike, and just dance about--really, just stay active for all that time.
candy_girl_1298 • 5 November 2011 at 8:33 PM
@metaphor same XD i also play tons of sports, so that helps. and my muffin top is not tiny, its.. medium-ish XD
metaphor • 5 November 2011 at 8:35 PM
@candy_girl_1298Well, as said above, everyone has a little bit of a muffin top. Wearing flattering clothing usually does the trick.
candy_girl_1298 • 5 November 2011 at 9:10 PM
@metaphor i guess... XD
balletninja • 5 November 2011 at 9:43 PM
I just played DDR I AM DYING!
metaphor • 6 November 2011 at 12:31 AM
*sigh* I should stop looking at those blogs where stupid anime snobs nitpick at people cosplaying who are not drop-dead gorgeous. It's making feel like crap even though I don't cosplay or wear revealing clothing. My smaller pants now seem as repulsive as the larger ones.😋

@Metaphor What's a muffin top? O_OI need serious workout. Seriously. Like, in my face and stomach. That's half the cause of my chest area. xDI mean, I use Wiifit sometimes, I used to have an old treadmil I used (but now my mom doesn't let me use it, because its too old and creaky). But I try to get my activity in by just walking, I guess. I keep trying to make a goal for myself, on weight loss. But snacks are too tempting, it's like, the more I try, the more I gain. DXMy weight increases steadily over the years, Idk if it's part of growing and getting taller, but I keep track of my weight. When I was around 8 or 9, I was like 80-90 poundsWhen I was 10, I had just reached over 100When I was about 11 and a half, I spiked up to 130, but that's really understandable considering everything that happened when I was *almost* 11.So now I'm like a month aaway from turning 12, and a little bit over 140 pounds.I can like, lose weight in between, then get it back again.Honestly, I don't look *that* bad, people say I'm pretty, with a good figure and all, but I have low self-esteem.It's funny how you can look in a mirror and hate what you see, but then other people tell you that you look good.
metaphor • 6 November 2011 at 12:47 AM
@dreamerA muffin top is basically just chub that bulges over the waistline when someone wears tight pants, skirts, etc.I have horrible self-esteem, but working out and eating right makes me feel a lot better--not only because I lose weight, but also because 1. Exercise releases endorphins 2. Good food = good energy!

We did a density dunk, and now the whole class knows I'm more dense than some guy in our class that is kind of... fat. 😋Well, I'm small, so that's okay, I think.I'm 5 foot 3 and 107 pounds....
dreamer • 6 November 2011 at 12:57 AM
@Metaphor Ohhhh yeah, that! Mine's somewhat big, it looks awful when I wear pants. DXI hate it too, because I'll be trying on clothes that look god... until I try them on.Seriously, my stomach and muffin top and chests are so huge, it makes half the clothes I try on look tight and awkward.I get taunted about that, too.But half the people who taunted me had no idea what I'm going through, struggling with weight and worrying about how I look so much now. That might be half the reason girls wlak around with fancy clothes and makeup; Because they have low self-esteem and they feel more mature/pretty with mascara and eyeliner and expensive pants and high heels and hair extenstions. It's just so they feel better about themselves.I try to make workout plans and eat right, but I always end up eitherA. Snacking too much and gaining weightOrB. Workout, lose a few pounds, then lack on excercise and gain it right back again, plus more.So I'm looking for a good routine, obviously my weight is gonna increase as I get older, but I don't want to look so chubby, and look more pretty.Cuz all these people say you should just accept yourself and don't change. But they don't understand when al ittle change is actually neccesary for living a healthier life.
whitefall • 6 November 2011 at 12:59 AM
I don't care what I look like. Psh.I'm a pig, but I have a high metabolism. My bedtime snack was 900 calories. O_OThat's okay.I mean, I run pretty fast in gym, so it works everything out.Plus, gym's right after lunch = all calories go byebye.

@Whitefally Half the reson I torture myslef and put myself down so much about being overweight is:I don't want people to think I have issues because I'm heavy.I don't wanna get diabetes (actually, I have no clue if I have diabetes or not, I haven't had my blood tested in years, I'm afraid of needles).Clothes fit better on me if I'm thinner.I'm obviously getting taller too, I;ve had growing pains in my legs for like, days. And at the *ame* time, I gained around 5 pounds. There's a simple explenation.I even tried starving myself a few times-- Thinking I could shed pounds if I don/t eat anything for a couple days. But when my mom assumes I'm doing that to myself, she say that if I don't eat anything, my stomach will go into starvation Mode; I other words, I'd gain a *ton* of weight back by just eating one meal, because my body would need to store fat and energy because of a lag of food, thus no protein or vitamins. Idk. It's complicated.I've also seen those ads for medicine that you add to food that helps you control hunger/weight. And I've wanted to try something, but I'm afraid to ask my mom.So right now, I'm just desperate for a method to help me lose weight.I wanna get down to like, 110 pounds in the next 2 months.5 foot 1 and 110 pounds is more reasonable than 5 foot 1 and 142 pounds, eh?
metaphor • 6 November 2011 at 1:57 AM
I don't really wear makeup unless I'm going somewhere fancy. Too much hassle for one school day. If people don't like it, no loss here.😋
