EggCave is starting to get pretty pointless for me.

My cove is fine as it is, I'm usually unhappy about updates, and I'm not very close to other Ec users, not as much as I was before.

Plus, because of school, I only come on for a short amount of time every day, and can't really do much at all, because when I'm online I just end up opening up another tab for Youtube or Pogo or some other site.

I know I've said this before, but I mean it this time. I think I may be quitting soon.

I'm so booked on my time now, and EC is just another thing that wastes it. It's either quitting users, annoying updates, or forum conflicts. And I'd like to leave this place before EggCave becomes a Commercial site (not saying that it is).

A penny for your thoughts. Anyone?

@Icicle_9510 Well, a few years back, I never thought Neopets would go commercial, but then they released the NC mall. A few years later, that's the only thing that matters there...

And I don't want to be on EggCave if it turns into that, too.

@dreamer true, true.... Iv said it once before, and I'm not complaining, it's just, iv lost the thrill of freshness. I'm no longer rank newb, I'm rank oldie, marked by my one year anniversary yesterday. When I was new, it was all the learning experience, a new trade each day. I nearly BURST the day I got Sarone, and back then his name was Icemist! I remember laying eyes on that olimpt. Boy, oh boy, that was the gold. The treasure to steal. But eh, what'd I know back then, about rarifies? Actually, after like a week I could tell which creature was worth which, besides the high priced onny and doovo & macbot, I was pretty good. Course things were cheaper back then, cept the mo that I paid $7.50 for xD I had foo and florn, and mummer bounce around my cove. Ha, I even had a shaibun egg, and eleyemo egg and ragon eggs! And the day Sarone hatched, and I finally achieved KoolKat, well, I almost cried tears of joy! But, I'm not a newbie anymore, iv got a dream cove. I don't trade. I couldn't tell you what a chimera, or nimpha would trade for. I'm clueless! I've lost friends left and right. Iv got something planned, so jump on the bandwagon for my plans if you want. Anybody on my friends list is allowed....

I think Eggcave would be so much better if Ian was on more to give us updates, right now he's leaving us alone and losing lots of players. It's just not fun anymore...

Anyways, I'd love to stay and chat, but I need to get to bed, it's almost 10 PM and I have to get up early tomorrow for school and catch the bus, and I don't wanna be too tired.

Well take care then. I've quit before and come back so to me this site is not boring, and I'm fine with how things are. And if things get boring, as all sites do at some point, I'll leave and maybe return another day in the future.

Those who don't like it or don't have time for it should just leave quietly. The way people go on and on about quitting makes me think they just want people to beg for them to stay. If you have suggestions for the site post them in the suggestion area. And if you quit good bye and take care. Hopefully the site will grow interesting to you in the future and you return when you have the time. If you don't good luck with whatever else you do in the future.

Compared to the old days, the site has grown. Sure it gets inactive now and then but it's still pretty nice here. This is still one of my fave sites.

How about a Nym for my thoughts instead? ;D Jkjk. Anyways, EC hasn't become bad for me yet, but I have a feeling it might soon. I just think there should be something... eh... I don't know... more interactive or interesting that we can all waste our time on and use to procrastinate 😉 Really, I just usually go on to feed my eggs and sometimes others eggs.

Egg Cave has gone rather... quiet
Not the quiet where there aren't that many users, but that other quiet where no one is doing anything...?
I dunno how to explain it, but that's what it feels like to me :/


But if Egg Cave does ever get boring, I think it's best to book your creatures in for several days/weeks and take a good break from Egg Cave & hopefully come back with more interest :]

Well, my suggestion is to immortalize your creatures before you leave in case you want to come back someday.
