I colleting creatures in cave and i get one STAR creature. What thats mean, and for what is it anyway?

Star creatures are much more rare than regular creatures, that makes em special, you can also buy a star potion from the cash shop to give your creature a star 😊 Even regular cave creatures are somewhat more valuable if they have a star 😃It doesn't really have a function though, other than it being there. Some people like stars a lot, I personally don't, since they block the picture DX

Don't worry about it, everyone has a facepalm moment sometimes (I have lots XD). I wish the cave stars were a different colour from the CC stars, then it would be lots of fun collecting them cause that would make em really special, now I'm like >.>
