The Oktobear also uses a lure to catch prey and will beat them unconscious with their tentacles or bone plated head. Special deep sea barnacles are often found attached to the Oktobear giving its body armor like protection against predators making the Octobear a force to reckon with. Adult male Oktobear are said to be size of a school bus, while an adult female is believed to be double the size.
