Welcome to Gibbymodok Major, the oldest and biggest tier of Gibbymodok. Here are the major districts and government hub. We'd stay in the more reputable areas if we were you - no telling what will happen if you don't, and you are not wealthy or important enough for the higher-ups to care if you get in trouble.

The Merchant District is one of the biggest legitimate trading bazaars in Ark, as the Corporation enforce a no-violence, no-cheating rule on the entire district. The goods sold range from mundane to magical, beautiful to hideous, cheap to nearly priceless. Technocrats and sorcerers have stalls side by side, so whether you are looking to buy five years to add to your life or a missile warhead, you are at the right place.

If you want something "extra", however, you can explore the various clusters of black markets and Guild stores - if you know where to look. The various guilds, especially the powerful Thief Guild, are the law in these areas, so make sure you stay on their good graces.

Stay out of the Government District unless you have permit. This is the most heavily guarded area, and for good reason - the Corporation runs its business and rules from here, and the Palace of the Dark Queen, especially, is off-limits unless you have special invitation from Her Highest Majesty herself to visit. No one that values his life goes there without a good reason, but there are a few daring souls who try to sneak into the Gibbymodok Space Station located at the highest peak now and then, perhaps to steal a spaceship off Ark. But that station is guarded by a few dragons, Mutant Grundo commandos, and deadly Macbots, so it's not surprising that those fools are never heard from again.
