only 25% kidding about the skiing off a cliff thing but i WILL come visit at some point because its been way way way too long. also yeah last year i read that paper on how society will collapse due to climate change in like 2050 and i think about it at least once every day :^)

i dont even have studios anymore and half my professors gave up in general. like for my origin of life/philosophy class my 70 yr old professor spent half the class(1.5hr) making us look at an egg yolk and the other 1.5 hours weeping over prince the singer. thats just how life be.

hermit life is where its at. it may feel lonely at times and if it ever does absolutely hmu, i got classes online until next fall and i've always wanted to ski off a very tall slope and disappear mysteriously forever into the cold colorado river

veggie dogs with ketchup is a decadent meal very hot of u. you'll eventually get used to the noise too but ya i feel u, at first really loud persistent noises are kinda torturous. those little rubber ear nips are great for the first few weeks if you cant sleep with the noise.

the world and public places eventually become your SPACE like the good thing imo about living in a closet is not wanting to be in a closet all the time so i'll eventually wander out of the crevices of my apartment and go out and visit galleries and parks and stuff more

like at first i was like minimalism BAD i want posers i want taxidermied moths i want at least a goshdarned CHAIR IN MY ROOM (IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR) but i think there is a joy to be had in cherishing a small amount of posessions that i am super attached to

it is def hard and kinda painful to get used to at first ngl but u can do this! take care of urself and the ppl (gus counts as a person in this context) who lov u and everything will be okay. and even if it doesnt work out you can always move elsewhere and try again right?

living alone is kinda suck but also kinda great. i get to make as many morning star nuggets as i want at 3 in the morning and blast disco inferno and nobody can physically stop me u feel. there is excitement in being able to live ferally in peace

uhmn aside from that if you have lots of STUFF i think over time you'll figure out the whole decluttering thing like i went from pack rat to only having a laptop and two pencils after moving to new york for a few yrs. the container store is a friend

basically the only stuff youd want to keep on the counter is stuff that is kinda small and that you use really often like maybe a kettle or small rice cooker? and invest in a kitchen cart (? i think thats what they are called) or a side storage rack u can keep in the corner

yess i live in 150 sqft apt. basically you never keep any of the stuff in the kitchen unless ur actually using it at the time. like i keep my microwave on top of the fridge when its not in use and then bring it out when i need it/same with toaster i keep on the fridge
