it is def hard and kinda painful to get used to at first ngl but u can do this! take care of urself and the ppl (gus counts as a person in this context) who lov u and everything will be okay. and even if it doesnt work out you can always move elsewhere and try again right?

living alone is kinda suck but also kinda great. i get to make as many morning star nuggets as i want at 3 in the morning and blast disco inferno and nobody can physically stop me u feel. there is excitement in being able to live ferally in peace

hey its OKAY to be alone in the city at first like i have made 3 friends in all my year and a half in ny and i think one of them doesnt count cause its my professor. stay in contact with all of your friends from michigan and dont even sweat it, like you will meet ppl

if i had THREE Hundred entire square feet in manhattan i think i would develop a superiority complex omg i would have space for maybe even a desk. my bed was ilke maybe if you took one of those childrens beds from ikea and then halved that vertically OWO

uhmn aside from that if you have lots of STUFF i think over time you'll figure out the whole decluttering thing like i went from pack rat to only having a laptop and two pencils after moving to new york for a few yrs. the container store is a friend

basically the only stuff youd want to keep on the counter is stuff that is kinda small and that you use really often like maybe a kettle or small rice cooker? and invest in a kitchen cart (? i think thats what they are called) or a side storage rack u can keep in the corner

yess i live in 150 sqft apt. basically you never keep any of the stuff in the kitchen unless ur actually using it at the time. like i keep my microwave on top of the fridge when its not in use and then bring it out when i need it/same with toaster i keep on the fridge
