DATABASE LAG - We're working on the lag issues at our database! We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Rest assured that we're monitoring the situation as we speak and are trying to resolve the issues and make Egg Cave as fast as possible. [UPDATE 4:42 PM] - The database has been stable for the last 30 minutes. [UPDATE 5:06 PM] - It would appear that some of the underlying code that manages Leaf of Vaka accounts has been causing some of the slowdowns. Users that possess a Leaf of Vaka may also be noticing happiness levels lower than 100 happiness. We're working on resolving this issue right now! At the current moment, we've temporarily disabled "creature deaths" and happiness decreases globally until this issue is resolved. All of your creatures are safe and we'll fix the Leaf of Vaka shortly. We'll update this post again once it's resolved. [UPDATE 6:16 PM] - Leaf of Vaka, creature deaths, and creature happinesses are working as expected again. Database lags intermittently. [UPDATE 10:13 PM] - Hiccups intermittent and we're still watching and working!

Yep, we're having some global issues with this. đ Working on it. Seems to be intermittent, which is at least good for load times.

I was using the click exchange and then nothing would connect. People must be on the site in anticipation of the event đ, and Yeeps.

we're noticing some issues with leaf of vaka accounts and creature happinesses dropping below 100. this is because of the slowdowns.
we're working on resolving this issue right now.

Hi. I just tried logging on and it wouldn't load right away, still lagged. Other websites were just fine (I always check lol).

I'm a bit confused. The blog post says the leaf of vaka is back to working, but mine doesn't appear to be working. Is that still due to lag?

@fakeworld yes, that means that we're restarting the database whenever you receive that error for a minute or so.
hiccups are still intermittent! we're still watching!
