- down, if you hold it, lean on the chair or put your hand on a certain place? I thought Egg Cave was becoming a bit more mobile-friendly?

sunflake • 24 Apr 2014, 3:11 AM

'm really sad for people's who didn't get their Weggy ._.

turkishdelight • 24 Apr 2014, 10:33 AM

Congratulations to everyone who completed the egg hunt!

spiritkoi • 24 Apr 2014, 10:52 AM

I have developed a life long hate for Puritas. :/

yukihitsugaya • 24 Apr 2014, 3:00 PM

I have a weggy, but I really didn't like this. Spending hours refreshing for a tiny egg, just to keep coming up with doubles is not fun.

nenielsen • 24 Apr 2014, 3:06 PM

Refreshing the page over and over for ANYTHING to me is just plain boring. This was far worse than the other events, but I'm tired of the

nenielsen • 24 Apr 2014, 3:08 PM

"find the gobblers" type hunts where you have to refresh the page continuously, for what? The gobbler hunt's prize was only give to the top

nenielsen • 24 Apr 2014, 3:10 PM

hunters, and it was only one egg already available in the cave. I wish there were more plots like the valentines even that had more to it...

nenielsen • 24 Apr 2014, 3:11 PM

Excuse me, valentine's *event. 😋 oops

metaphor • 24 Apr 2014, 5:00 PM

I didn't even participate because it wasn't my thing. I was participating in an egg hunt on a different site. That hunt was challenging, but

metaphor • 24 Apr 2014, 5:01 PM

by no means impossible. I can understand where people were coming from; this egg hunt doesn't seem to have been the best designed. I'm not

metaphor • 24 Apr 2014, 5:01 PM

saying it should have been super easy, but refreshing over and over isn't my idea of an egg hunt tbh. My 2 cents.

univea • 24 Apr 2014, 5:06 PM

But it was supposed to be fun too, at no time was I having fun.

Meteoroid • 24 Apr 2014, 9:14 PM

@nenielsen Yes, yes. The description needs to be rewritten. I know.

yoyolee • 24 Apr 2014, 11:02 PM

I spent 10+ hours on this and was missing the last two eggs. I don't think this event was well planned at all.

yoyolee • 24 Apr 2014, 11:04 PM

The repeat finds were extremely frustrating and useless, maybe if we were able to trade extras with other user, this would have been

yoyolee • 24 Apr 2014, 11:05 PM

a more successful event. As it was, you could have spent every second refreshing and not find the eggs you needed.

yoyolee • 24 Apr 2014, 11:07 PM

I can see how increasing traffic like that would be good for business but you need to also keep the players in mind. This was Not Fun. ☚ī¸

dionaea • 25 Apr 2014, 3:04 AM

I don't understand why the event had to be changed. The amount of eggs could have been upped with a couple extra randomly appearing ones to

dionaea • 25 Apr 2014, 3:05 AM

make the event a bit harder than previous years. Having repeats appear is ridiculous and cruel to unlucky people who try real hard. I'm not

dionaea • 25 Apr 2014, 3:11 AM

complaining because I didn't get one, I quit at 2 eggs once I found out how the event worked now, it's just not worth the trouble.

dionaea • 25 Apr 2014, 3:14 AM

The people who are telling off others for getting angry are deluded. Eggcave has become like an abusive spouse, making you work hard for

dionaea • 25 Apr 2014, 3:19 AM

getting almost nothing in return. @Yoyolee got the point perfectly, this is all about money. Well, I'm voting with my wallet, toodles y'all.

sunflake • 25 Apr 2014, 3:58 AM

Finnaly I've got Invernut xd

rinoa812 • 25 Apr 2014, 4:36 AM

Has anyones weggy hatched yet? Im wondering what it hatches into. I succeeded in getting weggy but it took me forever and there were several

rinoa812 • 25 Apr 2014, 4:37 AM

times i wanted to quit. I didnt mind the random pages but the repeats were ridiculos. I think i found purita 80 times lol. I spent hours

rinoa812 • 25 Apr 2014, 4:37 AM

every day doing it, That being said i do appreciate the work put into and maybe tweaking it would make it much improved

laitha • 25 Apr 2014, 10:13 AM

Do someone know how Weggy looks like after hatching?

Meteoroid • 25 Apr 2014, 11:05 AM

@nenielsen I didn't write the original description.

spiritkoi • 25 Apr 2014, 11:55 AM

@laitha Go to @mairbear.

jupiter_hollow • 25 Apr 2014, 2:18 PM

@dionaea The hunt may have been more difficult than past yearss, but that does not warrant comparing Eggcave to an abusive spouse.

jupiter_hollow • 25 Apr 2014, 2:19 PM

actually, nothing could warrant such a comment.

jupiter_hollow • 25 Apr 2014, 2:21 PM

@nenielsen There are about 300 creatures in the site and a lot of the descriptions are mod-made. They can't compare and mind all of them.

Meteoroid • 25 Apr 2014, 3:02 PM

@jupiter_hollow Thank you. Regardless, I'll go fix up the description when given the chance. It's easy to forget some things.

Meteoroid • 25 Apr 2014, 10:17 PM

@nenielsen I'm fine.

ladynymeria • 26 Apr 2014, 1:42 AM

I agree with jupiter, it's ridiculous and trivializing to compare a pet site to domestic abuse @dionaea .

jupiter_hollow • 26 Apr 2014, 4:19 PM

@nenielsen That was not 'being passionate'. As previously stated, nothing can warrant comparing a pet site to domestic abuse.

skibaerle • 27 Apr 2014, 1:19 AM

I agree with nenielsen

jupiter_hollow • 27 Apr 2014, 7:30 AM

This goes out to all the people who have been rude. Being angry is okay, but not rude. I went through the egg hunt too, I know your pain,

jupiter_hollow • 27 Apr 2014, 7:31 AM

and if I didn't burn something down or punch someone in the face, then you can do it too. So, to get my confusion across:

jupiter_hollow • 27 Apr 2014, 7:32 AM

Now, I don't think some of the site users understand that when referring to eggcave in 'eggcave is like an abusive spouse' or 'eggcave is

jupiter_hollow • 27 Apr 2014, 7:38 AM

all about money' they're not talking to pixels. They're referring to the staff, made up of actual people, with jobs and lives, who still

jupiter_hollow • 27 Apr 2014, 7:45 AM

make time to make this site better for all of us. And, suddenly, someone decides to compare what they do to domestic abuse.

jupiter_hollow • 27 Apr 2014, 7:49 AM

(This is where my confusion comes in about Nenielsen's justification of the comment: Why compare something you like to something hideous?)

jupiter_hollow • 27 Apr 2014, 7:50 AM

The collective opinion of the community has already come across, but people are becoming progressively more rude and I feel like this is

jupiter_hollow • 27 Apr 2014, 7:56 AM

turning up to be all about who can whip up the most insulting comment.

ladynymeria • 28 Apr 2014, 12:08 AM

My problem with comparing Eggcave to abuse is more personal. Abusive relationship aren't some thing you can use as a punchline or-

ladynymeria • 28 Apr 2014, 12:09 AM

as a witty line to get your point across. Comparing a frustrating event in a game for pets to domestic abuse makes it seem like domestic-

ladynymeria • 28 Apr 2014, 12:10 AM

abuse isn't such a huge and terrible thing that kills countless people every year. It doesn't make your frustration with the event seem-

ladynymeria • 28 Apr 2014, 12:12 AM

more important or valid, it just shows how little you respect abuse victims and how you don't understand how truly terrible it is.
