Just adds my 5 cents... For me Travels are divided into two parts - those that I'll put on the pet so it will look better and those that I won’t put on because they simply don’t look good with the pet. --
--And some Travels are so good that I can put them on many different pets. The retired Travels were THAT good. The new Travels is definitely not. I won't put it on any pet and I'll buy a small amount of them only to use it with Quests.

@isis I like the vend shop idea!! maybe instead of doing quests like we do with the creature VEND it could be like collecting other travels/items to exchange? kind of like that christmas toy store thing. or yeah, premium prices works too

*sob* I liked the old travels because they looked like places my creatures could go...not just pictures behind my creatures. I do like the artwork of the new ones but have a hard time matching them with my creatures.

@ravensong Well said! Imo if travels are going to be retired they should be replaced with something a little more similar to the old ones. A lot of different creatures look great with FairyWorld etc, but due to the bright colors and placement of bunnies/etc --

-- I haven't found many creatures that look good with the new ones yet. (On the other hand, the new travels are *exactly* the kind of travel I'd love to display in some sort of collection/display, hinthint...)

VENDing the retired travels has my vote! If we wanna start retiring items, I'd begin with the Bean Sack... I'll continue ragging on the BSack until the items are more useful than just pretty, lol
