@darthvader The only time cave tries are reset is for unexpected releases.

For releases where you know they will come out on a specific day, cave tries are not reset.

It doesn't say that anywhere, but if we don't give advanced warning for a release then we tend to reset tries...
...but if there is advance warning or its a holiday, then we don't. Its not something written down or set in stone anywhere.
