I tired the links before clearing cookies, and it logged be out, but I couldn't log back in. Had to clear my cookies to log back in.

If everything else fails, you have to clear cookies from the beginning of time.
Note that this is different than clearing your internet cache and/or temporary files and/or history. Cookies are separate from all that. 😊
