Today, we remember and celebrate Ark Victory Day—where Ark narrowly escaped being overtaken by the terrible Pareteorsite Queen and her minions. Arkians joined together with Ambassador Thrakhis and his crew and saved Ark.
From today through July 22, the site near The Mysterious Asteroid is giving out Ark Victory Day themed prizes. You can claim prizes every half hour. The energy of Asteroid, however, is known to randomly destroy some Inventory items. (This site feature does not destroy Cash Shop items.)
Do not visit for Ark Victory Day prizes from your side accounts.
Also through July 22, visit the Mysterious Asteroid every half hour. The Asteroid can be visited every 30 minutes instead of once daily during Ark Victory Day celebrations. Yay!

There's the blog post! Happy Ark Victory Day everyone!! I've gotten nothing from the Asteroid itself so far but plenty of great goodies from the nearby site. Still hopeful on the Asteroid, I haven't got a single creature from there since I started playing!

So how rare is it for it to destroy inventory items? I have all my stuff safely in my Strongroom except a couple 'locked' items and a few cheap things I bought just out of curiosity to see if they'd be destroyed... Nothing has been so far.

@heatherm19 I think the 'destroy' is breaking items in to coal- Ive got it 2 times yesterday its about 2/24 chance ig...? anyone could be unlucky/luck too-

I am hoping to get something this year. I haven't gotten something yet. Except for the Pareteorsite, I think it's a gift from the original Ark day event. Tough the past years, I would forget about it till it was too late. I happen to have seen the tweet for it this year, luckily.
