Egg Cave is quite the happening place! Visit our blog for the latest updates on everything new that we add to the site — new creatures, exciting worlds, account updates, and unique activities to do!
CREATURE IMAGE UPDATE - Turns out that the "broken creature image bug" has persisted, but it has now been fixed for good. Bug squashed!
MAINTENANCE COMPLETE - Thanks for sticking with us through the maintenance today. Egg Cave's authentication system and the way we store passwords have been updated. Since we were down longer than expected, all creature's happiness have been restored to 100! You can now add Security Questions to your account to help us verify your identity in the event that it's lost or stolen.
NEW SPECIES - Can you befriend a loyal, hunter-gatherer Spidet?
SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE - Egg Cave's main authentication system will be receiving an overhaul on Monday, March 11 at 4:00 pm ECT. This will cause an automatic site-wide log out; your account may be inaccessible for up to 30 minutes while we perform this maintenance. This maintenance will improve the way Egg Cave encrypts and stores passwords. We will also be implementing optional security questions that you can set up on your account to help verify your identity in the event that your account is lost or stolen. Thanks for helping make Egg Cave one of the most secure web sites on the planet!
