DOUBLE/TRIPLE FEED DAY - It's that time of month again! For today only, you can receive up to double or triple Egg Coins for feeding. Have fun!

ITEM COLLECTIONS - Permanent, multi-use items (which at the moment only includes Cash Shop Travels) will now be counted only once in creature Item Collections. This is to prevent people from adding and removing Cash Shop Travels a number of times to boost their Item Collection "use counts" to infinite numbers.

As of right now there are no other permanent, multi-use items. Any other items (i.e. toys) that are multi-use are still not permanent, in that they always have a chance of breaking and won't last forever. We'll still tally those multi-use counts in Item Collections.

We hope that this change makes sense. In other words, once you use a Cash Shop Travel, it's listed as "1" forever.

Item Collection counts for Cash Shop Travels have been reset to 1.

I may only count once but I still look amazing on an Aquolt!

CASH SHOP TRAVELS - In case you hadn't already heard, Cash Shop Travels are now multi-use items.

SLIGHT BUG - There was a slight bug that prevented Grand Cathedral, Dwarf Star 1000 Space Ship, Ark City Greenhouse, Ark City Art Gallery, and some other Cash Shop Travels from reappearing in Inventories since the update 2 days ago. In case you lost one of these Travels upon removal in the last 48 hours, please Submit a Ticket and we'll fix it.

   
   
   

HOW THINGS ACTUALLY WORK - Yes, just remove Cash Shop Travels normally and they'll reappear in your Inventory. There aren't any special instructions in your Cove.

ELIGIBLE RESTORATIONS - Any users who have submitted requests to have their previously-used Cash Shop Travels restored have now been processed. Some of you had quite the collection! We want to remind users that pre-item collection Cash Shop Travels (that were used before item collections) are not eligible for restoration. Why? Because we have no other account records other than these uses to base things off.

CASH SHOP INDICATORS - Cash Shop Travels are now indicated by a CaveCash icon in your Inventory (). If you see that icon, the item is multi-use.

There's also a new block section entitled Item Notes that will appear for multi-use Cash Shop Travels. This is a friendly notice upon item use.

AQUOLT DRESS UP TIME - Get your Aquolts outfitted from the Cash Shop Park at 50 CC each.

   

CASH SHOP TRAVELS UPDATE - All Cash Shop Travels purchased in the past and purchased in the future can be removed from your creature and it will be returned to your Inventory. In other words, Cash Shop Travels are now multi-use items.

Lost a previously-used Cash Shop Travel before they were multi-use? Send us a message and we'll get it back for you.

MASSIVE PAPERBACK BOOKS - These massive books are now available at Leila Library.

   

HAPPY LABOR DAY - Happy belated Labor Day to all of our U.S. players! We hope that you had a great past weekend celebrating the last fun of summer.

RESIZABLE TOYS - These resizable toys are now available from Kirk at the Toy Shop.

UPDATED CHARACTER SETS - Egg Cave's global databases have been updated to accept a new, wide range of advanced characters which means you can put them together to create cool faces like this: (✿◠‿◠) (thanks @iceiceice)! These advanced characters used to show up as "?" whenever you'd post them in the past.

DRESS UP TIME - Your Rathrops and Tammicks can now be "dressed up" with these looks. We think Tammicks look especially beautiful here.

SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE - Egg Cave will be down for maintenance for about 2-5 minutes on September 8. The scheduled maintenance window is between the times 1 AM to 7 AM ECT.

Rest assured that, during this maintenance, your creatures will be safe and no creatures will die.

SITE GUIDELINES UPDATE - Nobody likes being a victim of pointless pinging, as it leaves people's Notification feeds traumatized for days. We've updated our Site Guidelines to include some guidelines for pinging, particularly to prevent against pointless pinging. Read about it. Then don't do it.
