Pinging problem?

Whenever I try to ping 1 certain user, it comes up like this:

@redstar-fireclan

This is an actual user. What happened?

There's already a user called redstar.

@spenser_dog_123 according to them, they still get a ping, it just doesnt show up. I think. and @james-bond too

Maybe just take off the - then it might work

@lwarlen it doesnt work because if you take away the -, it pings a different user who doesnt exist 😋

Yes I've noticed this problem.
I don't get pings because I have the dash in my user-name.
I don't know how this could be fixed.
If you use different spelling, then it would ping the other name, if the user even exists.
I've never gotten a ping because of this problem /giggle

Well, that could be a good thing, and a bad thing.

GOOD THING: No annoying pings, every couple minutes

BAD THING: If someone wants you to see something important, you wouldn't really know, unless some other way of communication. xDDD
