Gods in Coming

Axis fell asleep quickly, tired of the day's surprises. Her young face was caught in a expression of contentment and inside, she was dreaming about gods. Were they real? Could her talent with shadows really have something to do with it?

@cqpkytty In the book there is no official cabin for the HUnters on Table since Aretemis doesn't have children, Was it that they used the cabin and table when the hunters came to visit? I'm not sure...

She popped back into where Axis was sleeping, it was getting easier and easier her talents. She wondered if she should take Axis to Camp Half-blood or not. There had been no monsters trying to eat her, so Adrastea wasn't sure. Later, if Axis woke up, Adrastea decided, she would ask her where she wanted to go. But right now, even without her powers, she could sense that the young godling was tired and wanted to sleep.

Whatever needed to be said, could wait until morning

Yeah. Well, there IS a cabin for Artemis, where the Hunters stay. And they use her table, I guess.

What I meant was, the Hunters weren't at camp at the moment.

He sighed, there wasn't anything he wanted to do more than sit next to Kit and talk with her about some random topic. But there were always rules to follow. He had been here for a while know, and Cily probably did have reason to be mad at him. Asher went to take a seat next to the Hermes kids. It seemed they were the most fun to be around, they were well-rounded, but each still had their special trait that made them stand out.
I wonder where she is. Adrastea. My voice.

She wasn't sure what she was trying to accomplish by sitting next to Axis, and then looking into her mind. Adrastea wanted to know how Axis' talents worked. There was something about it that made her skin crawl in excitement and anticipation. She quietly peeked in there, and then realized it was wrong to take control of an innocent mind. Axis needed her rest, she was only eleven. This could be done later. Instead, Adrastea turned towards the solid precense of Asher and wondered if he knew who she was.
Kauto was another thing that preoccupied her mind.... WHy? Who knows...

Cilyrca finished up. She handed in her plate to be washed, then headed back to her cabin. Sitting on her bed, she took out her penknife.

Axis woke up quite early for her age. She stretched and checked the time. 6:00, the time read on her alarm clock. Cassandra (Adrastea) was still there surprisingly. "I'm going to get ready." she said. After changing and brushing her teeth, she still had hours until the day started for the orphans. " Step 2: Now, we are bored." Axis muttered glumly.

Cily yawned. She had stayed up all night on this one. She surveyed her work. It was good, but it just needed a few more details... She set to work again.

A few hours later Axis awoke, there was something about her that was diffferent now, but she couldn't pinpoint what wihtout intruding on the girl's thoughts.
"Hey," she began, "If you're up for it, you wanna learn some things about yourself?" It was a lame start, but it couldn't be helped. Axis had to know, at least before the monsters started to attack.

@phoenizis (How long are you going to be online? I'm planning a monster attack on us, but not sure if you're gonna be online for the whole thing or not)

Annibelle ate some food and went back to her cabin. It was crowded. As usual. She didn't belong here. Annibelle sighed.

Just one last little cut...there! Cily stood back and admired her work. It was a depiction of the twelve major gods on their thrones in Olympus, but as always, she somehow made more than twelve thrones; the extras were empty.

"Sure. What?" Axis asked curiously. She sat on the bed and wrapped a blanket around her. She wondered if it would be about gods. She had been thinking about gods a lot recently for no apparent reason.

"Okay," Adrastea began, "you're a Goddess. A child of Athena and-" She broke off. Heading quickly towards the window, Adrastea saw two strange lumbering creatures heading their way. Dracaena. Dragon woman.

"Get down, NOW!" Adrastea yelled to Axis. "I mean it! And stay down!"

She was silently cursing in Greek, she hadn't brought any weapons at all, there was nothing she could use to disenagrate the monsters.

A fireball hit the roof, and Adrastea felt smoldering hot flames start to trickle down towards the room where she and Axis were lodged.

"Okay, we need a plan. There are two dragon woman, Dracaena coming this way, probably for you. I'll need your help in destorying them! I'll explain on the way, but we need to get you to Camp Half-blood NOW" Adrastea said to Axis hurridly, hoping that the girl wasn't in shock.

Axis raised her eyebrows at Cassandra's (Adrastea) outburst, but when she heard "Get down," she fell to the floor like a rag doll. However, she screamed when the fireball hit and looked at the roof, frightened. "Dragon women? What's Camp Half-Blood?" she asked, still crouched into a tight ball.

"Don't think much of it. You'll get used to the attacks later on in life. First, my name's not Cassandra, it's Adrastea." Using one of her mental abilities she conjured a sword from the past. A celestial bronze, beautifully crafted, three foot creature that seemed to posses an eerie essence.

"This sword is Skia Dimiorgia, she was owned by Hades once in a lifetime. Shadow Creator. But mostly called SKia, she'll help you hone your powers, for now she's all you've got. Protect yourself, your instincts will kick in."

Adrastea summoned a bow that had celestial bronze tipped arrows. She wasn't too good with them, but Asher had been learning from Kit, so she might as well try.

She let loose her first arrow, and watched Axis carefully. The girl seemed perplexed but more and more understanding of the situation as time wore on.

Adrastea's arrow hit the first Dracaena in the eye as the horrid creature screeched

"Okay." Axis responded. "Time to fight some monster." She took the black sword cautiously and faced a Dracaena. Letting her instincts take over, she spun her sword around, and caught the creature on the neck, killing it instantly. Caught in battle mode, her heart pumping with adrenaline, she faced the next Dracaena.

I ate my dinner in silence, looking suspiciously at Argentum. "I guess I'll see you in our cabin later." I finally murmured, after shoving the bench back to the table and walking away. I stopped for a moment at Asher's table. "Meet me at the archery range." I said, then resumed walking, ignoring stares because I just showed up at the Hermes table... in fact.
There.
Everyone's mouths were open now, because I spread my wings. Why not make it more awkward?

"well." adrastea said simply,"that takes care of them." she started to pull axis away from the now blazing building in the direction of camp half blood

I ran to the archery range and picked up a bow-and-arrow and shot as many targets as I could.
"Ugh is Asher coming?" I said to myself, "Maybe I embarrassed him too much by kissing him..."

Asher noticed Kit heading back towards the Archery Range, suddenly he remembered that he hadn't finished giving her the tour. Thinking to strike up a conversation with her, he started to go in that direction.
[Hey, I need your help] Adrastea whispered in his head. Asher suddenly remembered her name, and the word sounded like the sweet final note at the end of a piece of music that just concludes the entire symphony.
{What about? I"m trying to get my lady love, if you hadn't noticed}
[Oh babe, I noticed, but still, as your sister...] she trailed off, a little bit uncertain, Asher noted in his mind in triumph. For some reason that made him feel a little less stupid
[I saw the kiss too, so you know, anytime you want. I really need help, I'm like about to die.]
Adrastea paused again [Pleeasseeeee....] she pleaded.

{Okay, what do you need me to do?}

[Nothing, just make sure that I can get to camp. Ask Kit to cover me with her arrows. I'm bringing in a new arrival, her name's Axis ( @phoenizis ) ]

{Okay, I'll ask Kit}

He hurried to catch up to her.... @luv

Axis fell limp as Adrastea pulled her toward where? Closing her eyes, she allowed herself to fall asleep. The final Dracaena had cut her forearm, and it hurt.

I saw Asher racing toward me. "Asher what's the hurry? You look as white as a ghost? Is something wrong?" I ask nervously, shouldering a bow-and-arrow in case... heck I don't know, a monster burst out of the woods!

OMG guys I'm soooo sorry! I've been super busy the past two days, with Thanksgiving, and a bunch of unfinished homework because of Black Friday shopping! ARGH!!!

She had just finished sending out her urgent plea of help to Asher when she noticed the final dracaena that Axis has slayed slashed her forearm just before disintegration. Adrastea recoiled in shock at how close the Dracaena had come towards her before Axis pushed it away, thus causing the nasty gash on her arm.
"Hey, stay with me, help will come!" she shouted urgently towards Axis, who's eyelids had already begun to flicker. Something else she wasn't sure that was in her power but she tried anyway. Entering into Axis' mind swiftly, she seized control of it. Now she was monitoring every single thought that came through her mind. Adrastea quickly made Axis think that she had super healing and sped up the healing process. Soon her flesh was knitting itself back together faster and faster until there was nothing left but a single circular shaped scar.

He barely stopped to yell back to Cily, "I need help! My sister is in trouble, they're at an orphanage and Dracaena attacked!" He continued running until he found Kit. Grabbing her by the arm he looked her in the eye, "My sister's in trouble."
