UPDATE: I got my stuff back. I'm so happy.
Now I can read in peace without knowing there's a bomb threat! 😃

Honestly, I feel like screaming at the top of my lungs at this very moment.

Today I went to school, it was going very well, extremely well.
I thought, nothing can get better then this, instead, it had gotten worse. My day is officially ruined.

In the middle of GYM class we were close to starting a relay race, I wasn't all that happy from the sound of it, since we HAD to do that, and this time, the fitness room was not an option.

We were then separated into our assigned groups.
Before we even began, we were told to evacuate the school.
I thought it was the usual thing, but I thought wrong, again.

After standing outside for half an hour - or what seemed much longer - in the freezing cold, we were then told to leave the school. Without our stuff.
Why? Because there's a bomb threat.

My phone, my favorite book, my UGGs, $50, and my photography camera. Left at the school.
I'm going crazy, not phone crazy, I can some-what manage, but the rest, I might just die.

I was getting to the good part of the book, too!
And, my UGGs, a Christmas gift from my dad and my sister, that's $180 right there, and the $50? I don't think I need to explain much about that, but my photography camera, too!
It's not mine really, but it's the schools, I had my film for the assignment almost complete!

Ugh. I hate my life.

@Morgana and @Anime had been there, too.

@Deannablanco3 - They would've but they were unsure of everything so they had to evacuate us out of the building until confirmation.

I was thinking, "If this is a Zombie apocalypse, I'm so pumped!", but no, it had to be a bomb threat.

I mean, I've always wanted to have a bomb threat, but I mean, not when I have things like that with me. Gosh.
I need my stuff.

It's never a good thing when something gets in the way of me and my books.

Especially this.
I will get revenge on this person for what they've done.

☹️

@sky that happened at my school one time, my teach told me the story.

It happened a long time ago, before any of us were in school. It was the winter of the year 9/11 happened. Some bright-light decided it'd be funny to call the school and tip off that there was a bomb hidden in the school.

EVERYBODY had to evacuate with absolutely NOTHING. Not even jackets for the little kids. The teachers had been given the code word for an event in which everybody was to immediately evacuate. Every single child had to huddle outside when it was below freezing without jackets in the teacher's parking lot.

The poor little children were starting to get frostbite. Everybody had to huddle like penguins together to keep warm.

I hope none of your stuff is missing☹️

But also, if you wanted a bomb threat, then not wanting it at the moment you have important stuff or doesn't suit your needs is totally inconsiderate. Bomb threats aren't convenient to ANYBODY. Don't hope for bomb threats.

They might one day be REAL, and then were will you be?

OMG, that's sad☹️. But you weren't allowed in for your own safety, isn't your life more important. You can always get those things again but you can't get another life. I hope everything gets better.

I always take my stuff, whether it's allowed or not 😈 But I guess when you're doing PE it's much harder to just grab your stuff like someone in a regular class could. You're right it seriously sucks, I hope you'll get your stuff back ☹️

@Pipkitten - I hope they allow us to get our stuff, considering this was the last of school considering the rest of the week is Thanks Giving break.

@Icicle_9510 - Me and my friends from GYM were wearing shorts and short sleeves, my friend had lent his sweater to me, after a while I felt I didn't need it, but my friend had kept me warm.

I. Need. My. Book.
NOW.

@Sky
I'd be surprised if they didn't let everyone come get their belongings. 😊 I think it's probably some sort of illegal to keep everyone's stuff there for an entire break.

@Lily- - If you knew me in life, you'd know that I wouldn't mind risking my life. To me, my life isn't at all important to me, but if someone were to cry over my grave, I'd care.

And the thing is, there's been threats like this before, and nothing ever happens. If they allowed us to quickly run in and grabbed our stuff I'm sure everyone would've made it out okay - well, they should've allowed those who are willing to risk their own life.
Like me.

@sky You'll get your stuff back, don't worry. Once the building is deemed safe you'll be let back in. Yeah, standing outside in the cold with none of your stuff sucks, but getting hurt or killed from an explosion would be worse. So just have some patience, everything will work itself out.

@sky
Well, let's hope it was just a threat.
You might have heard this before, but you can't be replaced. Your things can. I mean, like, the first Uggs your family gave you, but somewhat. ;]

Atleast when you get your stuff back, you'll be more grateful about it... And this is why I don't take expensive stuff to school. o~o

@sky
I think many people would cry over your grave and would not want you to risk your life, even if most of these kinds of threats aren't true. If you don't find your life important for yourself then please think of those who do find your life important and don't risk your life for their sake if not yours. I am sad because you left some things that you find very valuable and I do think they should let you guys come back and get your stuff during thanks giving break if the threat has gone and I hope you get all your things back soon. But please don't risk your life just because you think it isn't important, because every life is important.

@Whitefall - Eh, true.

I just needed the $50 to deposit for a trip.
My UGGs I wore to keep me warm, but of course I had to change out of them for GYM.

UPDATE: I just heard from others we are allowed to get our stuff back. But I'm not 100& sure.

@Hay7199 - That's what I meant.
I know nothing's going to happen, nothing did.
They just should have let us grabbed our stuff before evacuating.

@Hay7199 - The students would steal though. Half of the students are bad enough, put them together and they're much scarier then a bomb threat.

I'm getting my stuff very soon, whenever my dad gets home.
Which should be soon.

@zafeyry
Why would you need your phone? 😋
If there was a bomb threat, the schools would notify the news stations and send notification out to homes.

And I don't have any expensive stuff. D;
The most expensive item I own...
Just one thing. My graphing calculator. So like $100...?

My parents have jobs until 5 and I would need my phone if my practice got cancelled, I missed the bus, my club got out early, etc.

@sky

OMG, don't let the Uggs go in the fiery explosion! WAIT~ NOOOOO!

😋 xD Jklol. I'm glad you made it out safe and everything's okay, but it's sucks being out in the cold in light clothing. And it always sucks when you're right in the middle of a good book and somebody's like "Daughter, can you do the dishes?" or "Now please turn to page 355 in your textbook" :-/ Hope they let you get your stuff~ 😊
