Sparrow: I set River in a plush grass spot. Turning, I start to pick the brambles out of my fur. "Sorry about the scratches," I say to Snap, glancing at him. "This is the new camp that I found a few days ago..."

Sparrow: I turn, seeing Luna walk in, carrying the pup. I smile and trot over to her. "Hello little one..." I say quietly to Silver Star.

Snap: I nudge River to wake her up. "Hey," I whisper softly. "Stay here will you? This is our new home. Try to make some friends, and I'll be back with some food for us, 'kay?" She nods, and I leave her to play with the other pups as I go out to find some food, preferably Chinese. Or maybe that's just because they always have good food in heir dumpsters.

River: I blink my eyes open, to see our new home for the first time. I was half asleep just now, so I didn't really get a good look, but now I see that Sparrow was kind enough to set me down somewhere soft, and I wriggle around in the cool grass. The last time I was in something as soft as grass, was when the owls were around. They showed us the best moss places, unwittingly, of course, but that was how we got our bedding.
I decide to listen to Snap, and so I trot off to meet the other pups.

Luna, Cookie and Silver Star are walking down the street. It was actualy nice day. Then Silv run to other pup.

Isn't Silver Star too young to walk? Based on the picture, she'd have to be carried, and probably not even taken out of camp...😱 But, um, anyways...

River: I suddenly don't want to meet the other pups here. They're too nice. I squeeze my eyes shut, and try to summon a friendly voice, and I say to the pup, "My names River. Nice to meet you!" I make the last part sound especially cheerful, although it makes me feel like choking.

Snap: I snuffle around in the Chinese dumpster. There's nothing good here, so I assume all the loners and the other groups of three strays have taken the good stuff. There probably won't be another dump till you could see the bright lights of LA from a mile away, at night. I let my shoulders sag, which is extremely painful for me, but I go behind a small casino. A risk, I know, but it's worth it, considering the good food I find there.

River: I sigh, 'cause I can see I'm not getting anywhere with these pups, so I decide to follow, them, giving Luna a small nod to show her I'm ready.

Snap: I dig out almost a full chicken. I can't see what's wrong with it, but the chef must have thought it was bad. I lay it on the ground, and growl at a cat that comes up for a close look.
I dig back in the dumpster, but I freeze immediately. I look up. The chef is yelling at me from a window. I grab the chicken and take off running. The stupid Human throws a rusty old pan at me. He misses me completely.

Sparrow: I roam the streets and frown when I run into a stray. This one had scars all over her though. I stop, watching her carefully.

Stray: She growls, "What are YOU doing on my territory?"

Sparrow: "Excuse me?! YOUR territory?"

Little team walk into a camp. Luna find food. "Thats Sparrow left for us." and put Silver Star gently on ground. "Lets share it." Cookie says and give everyone a piece.

Sparrow: "Oh really?" I say, slowly circling the other dog. I growl and hold my head high, "Then why haven't I seen you around?"

Snap: I keep running until I'm sure the human isn't chasing me. I stop when I smell the border marks of another dog. They're very faint, as if they haven't been renewed in moon cycles. The scent is strange as well. I shrug, and walk trough, picking my way the heaps of rubbish when I hear Sparrow's growl and a strange voice.

Stray: She leaps at me and lands onto my back, digging her claws into my skin.

Sparrow: I yelp and instantly roll onto my back, trying to get her off. I turn my head, snapping her her neck as she bits by ear.

Snap: I drop the chicken as a I leap over Cookie's hiding place. I run into the stray, catching her off balance, and she crashes into the brick alley wall. "Leave the Alpha alone!" I snarl at her, and she cowers, but I can't tell if she is faking fear or not.

Sparrow: I slowly get up checking over my cuts.

Snap: I blink in surprise, and let my guard down for a moment, but I quickly regain my posture, and step aside for the stray to run away. "Just don't mess with our pack, and we won't hurt you, got that?" I do my best to act threatening.

Sparrow: I frown and limp slightly. "Stupid stray..." I mutter, wincing.
