On a Blog post Ian suggested that Internet Explorer is not a good browser for eggcave. Google Chrome, Safari and Firefox is where it's at! 😊

It depends on what you want, but Google Chrome and Firefox are the best. Firefox if you like gadgets and plugins and Google Chrome if you just want your internet simple, fast and safe.

I've been using Chrome for 2 years now, I switched to it because IE kept messing up eggcave and I've never looked back 😸

@crescentfeather

I agree with Pipkitten, both Google Chrome and Firefox are freeware, so you can just download em 😃 I think Google Chrome is the best choice though, it's less bulky and therefore faster 😊

I used to use Internet Explorer a few years back, but then I switched to Mozilla Firefox and then to Google Chrome, since it came with an Adobe update. xD So far, I have to say that Google Chrome is the best. 😊

@evolutary

*lols at your status* XD Brilliant, I'm gonna remember that one X3

And the fact that Chrome didn't have adobe flash player at first was a big disadvantage alright DX It also had some issues with java and downloading stuff from certain (scientific magazines') sites, that was the only reason I kept IE, on my new laptop the only time I used it was to download Chrome 😊

@crescentfeather

O.o Seriously? You should really ask them though, maybe they'll like it too, it's really much faster than IE and in a recent computer magazine in the Netherlands an expert said it's also safest (of the big 3) with viruses and stuff, simply because there isn't much to mess with o.o

On interenet eplorer, some of the eggs I tried to steal would never show up, I just click, and I loose a steal!
I also didn't get the complete archive! But at firefox, it works much better! I never tried google chrome - I guess I might! 😊

@dionaea Hehehe, thanks. xD

Yeah, when I first used Google Chrome, there was no drop-down box next to the URL for easy access to sites, but now I find it easier to type one letter, while the rest of the URL comes up. For example, I press 'e' and Egg Cave appears. 😊

I have tried all the browsers mentioned above & now exclusively use SeaMonkey which is also a mozilla based (firefox) product
