The landscape swiftly changes around you. After a blur of colors that seems to last a few minutes, you find yourself standing in the middle of a strange room. There are no windows or artificial lights, so it is very dark, but there seems to be a light source coming from down a hall. The entire enclosure smells faintly appetizing, like some sort of spice. Clove? Nutmeg? You aren't sure.(Please phrase responses as actions: "press the button", "walk down the hallway", etc.)

A few steps out of the room find you in a slightly lighter hallway. Turns out there are skylights all along the ceiling, but it is nighttime, and the stars provide only a dim glow.The warm fragrance of spices has grown a bit weaker since you entered the hallway, and is now punctuated by something sharper--peppermint, perhaps?

((For the record, I'm replying to the first response. ^^))You progress through the hallway without any interruption. All of what you've seen has been eerily quiet, although the smells are comforting. At one point you hear something skitter by far behind you. The hallway comes to an end, opening to three different passageways leading left, right, and forward. The path back to the room is also available.

The left passage leads you to another hallway, this one with side windows as well as skylights. Upon glancing out the windows, you can only see a blank hilltop, a forest far in the near distance, and a sky of stars. The hallway ends in two passages leading forward and to the right. You hear faint a faint sound- most likely voices- but you're not sure where it's coming from.

As you continue forward, the sound becomes more defined- it was a voice, but now it is apparent that the voice is singing. It sounds female, but again it's hard to tell. The farther you move down the hallway, the clearer the sound becomes, until you reach a dead end. It would be a good idea to stop here and get some information . . .
