The Hartslight roams the eerie snow encrusted forests of Ark to give weary travelers lost in blizzards hope. Hartslight are solitary creatures of grace and beauty, and their dances magical. Lone Hartslight will dig a circle In The snow with their hooves and dance on their light and delicate feet. To see a Hartslight dancing is considered to bring Christmas wishes to life...

Hartslights are deer which roam lonely forests, bringing light to those hopelessly lost. It is said that they have an ability to sense out the lost and wandering, for they only seem to appear where there is someone lost. They sometimes travel in packs, but their preferred method is solitary travel, generally appearing more often during Christmas in packs. Mysteriously, an area from which a Hartslight has travelled often seem to attract presents and gifts, like a future offering to the lost.
