@james-bond Please understand this is a rant, we were warned that it might bother us. We are allowed to share our opinions and so are you.

If we don't get things out once in a while then it become bottled up and can lead to bad things. But don't become angered by rants, they are what they are called: Rants. Just little stupid things that annoy us, but not to be taken too seariously.

people will bottle up bad things like the fact that some people have bad grammar on egg cave, and that will lead to bad things? Personally I think there are worse things than that.

@james-bond As I said, this is a rant. We don't like to spill our life stories on eggcave so instead we rant about one small thing, that if changed could make our lives better.

But the thing is, it ain't ever gonna change. Why complain and whine about something that isn't gonna change? How do you eliminate all bad grammar? How do you eliminate spammers? How do you eliminate bad traders? How do you eliminate annoying counter debaters like me? You just can't because they'll always be here. And EXACTLY. People are not spilling out their life stories so why does icymuffin say I am trying to change her view of the world? We are only discussing small matters that annoy people on egg cave, and it's not the end of the world if they are not solved.

Because it's ranting. It's simple as that.

And it's annoying, but as you said "it ain't ever gonna change."
So we'll rant instead. :] At least, that's my view of it. ^^

What @balletninja means is, sometimes people have these little things that bother them that happen a lot. They can't really do anything about it; they know that. But it is annoying when those little things happen. If one doesn't let it out, their frustration - that was built up bit by bit - could be let out on some innocent person.

Ex: Little drama thing here 😋
Anna - a girl who has little things that bother her
Bobby - a random boy
Cate - a random girl
Dennis - a random boy
Eadric - a random boy
Freya - a random girl
Gertrude - a random girl
Hank - a random boy

Anna - I don't like whistling.
Bobby - *whistles*
Anna - *annoyed*
Cate - *whistles*
Anna - *more annoyed*
Dennis - *whistles*
Anna - *even more annoyed*
Eadric - *whistles*
Anna - *very annoyed*

Anna - *frustrated*

@james-bond See. Now you are ranting. It is fun isn't it? I have told you why humans do it. We do it to un-bottle our pressure. And feel better about our situations. And, you really shouldn't try and start a fight by using "Ain't" when we precisely said on this thread we dislike bad grammar. It is like putting gas in a fire.

Yes, I understand what she means, but how frustrated to people get over bad grammar on a kids game where grammar doesn't matter?
And I don't think there are many people out there like 'Anna' who doesn't like whistling. Would you be a little surprised if you walk past someone on the street whistling, and they suddenly shout "DON'T WHISTLE YOU ****ING SON OF A *****!!!!!!!! "
How often does that happen? If that happened, I would think the person had a serious anger management problem, or they were going through something very hard in their life.

It was EXAGGERATED. It was DRAMA. A PLAY. In plays, reactions, emotions, etc. are EXAGGERATED.
But several of my teachers *HATE* whistling. I am not kidding.

While it doesn't really annoy me, I do think that the thread title should have to do with the thread instead of being something completely unrelated in order to grab attention. :]

And bad grammar can be annoying in some cases (for example, in a literate roleplay), but usually it doesn't get on my nerves too much. However, I think grammar might affect how seriously you're taken by other users.

Btw, once my English teacher wrote something along the lines of "Your work is amazing" on my paper. xDD

I don't undersatnd the big deal over grammar on a kids website where a lot of people wouldn't even know grammar fully yet. It's not the end of the world if someone writes ain't instead of isn't! This topic is called "Annoyances". So that's what I'm talking about. I dislike the fact that this topic was ever created, why there are so many of these topics.

And by the way, the word unbottle does not have a hyphen in it. If you don't want me to use bad grammar, I don't think you should either.

@jamesbond unbottle, according to my English teacher does have a hyphen. Whether she is correct or incorrect I cannot say, but I trust her.

And you are changing you argument like a girl changes her clothes. What are you arguing for?

Then what is the point of complaining when you don't want change? So does that mean that you dislike all this stuff about grammar, bad trading, ect but you want it to stay that way?

We are nto writing english essays here. It's jsut somewhere where you don't have to be criticized.

I dislike the fact that this topic was ever created, why there are so many of these topics. That is my 'annoyance' which is exactly what this forum title is.
And look up the word unbottled in the dictionary, online, whatever. Everywhere it says unbottled, not un-bottled. You could even let your teacher know. 😸

@james_bond No. She would kill me. Her dictionary has a hyphen. Grammar is subjectory but there is a standard which makes things easier to understand.

And you can despise this topic, and give your opinion about it but in the end you are just ranting about it. Doing as much good as we are.
