Some things on the forums are annoying me lately and I've made a list.
1. What's with all of the "CLICK HERE" topics? I go onto livepulse and I see "Please click" or "Need help" all over it! Also people are making the titles all caps and putting unnesasary !, *, ~, and other symbols. I also see random topic titles like "OMG GUESS WHAT?" and it turns out to be a user asking for feeds. Ugh! It's BUGGING ME!
2. Incorrect puncuation/spelling/capitalization. Please just take the 1/2 of a second to press the shift button first? Please? I understand the occasional typo but some things go to far. I'm ALWAYS doing this from my IPod touch. Look back on this topic. Everything is pretty decent, right? Not, perfect but readable.
3. SPAM: Sending Pointless Annoying Messages. On my topic the other day someone in the middle of a conversation jumped in and said: "I like cheese." Uh-huh. That's great. But I'm pretty sure that's spamming. >.< It seems to be happening a lot, because on that same topic I got a spam bot. 😱 Scary...

Anyway... That felt good to get out.:4

One thing I hate is the spellings between their, there, and they're.

There: A direct place or a direct point (if that makes sense)
Examples: "Look over there!" and "There, NOW do you understand me?"

Their: Relating to a person.
Example: "It's their own opinion!"

They're: Short for THEY ARE.
Example: "They're so annoying!"

Oh and, I'm on my iPad!

Totally agree with the annoyingness of "Please Click" topics. *sigh* I wish they were against the forum rules so I could report them all and watch them vanish.

Actually I agree with everything you said. Especially the spelling/grammar thing. I mean, practically every browser has a spell checker built in. There is no reason to misspell things anymore. :-/

I agree with @smilies, though the one that gets to me the most is 'Your welcome', instead of 'You're welcome'

@duchess You're welcome is correct but more people use Your welcome. Don't ask why.

@duchess Spam boys are bots from sites. They post URL codes and have random usernames. The codes send you to sites that have stuff for sale. It's rather annoying. XD

I mean, this is kind of basic... I remember learning this stuff in early elementary school, which gets at me even more *headdesk*
And "I", please capitalize it as it's supposed to be. D:
And "its"/"it's" ...it's not that hard ><"

Okay. II am not going to point out one annoyance that I just completely do not understand.


I do not understand why people post topics where they just complain about what they don't like. If people wanna rant, why not angrily write it on a piece of paper at home, screw it up, and throw it into the fire? Isn't that much more satisfying than ranting to everyone on egg cave and making then feel bad too? After reading the rant, how many people are going to change their attitude afterwards? Act differently? No one.

@qwaszx - #1 thing on Egg Cave that bothers me - people begging me for CC. :/ I can't randomly give out CC to everyone, it wouldn't be fair since I can't afford to give EVERYONE CC. I just don't know how to deal with it, so most of the time I ignore the begging. Probably not the best way to approach it, but I feel bad.. but not bad enough to stop buy CSP eggs haha. Boo on begging!! ☹️

Actually, in my opinion, not really. 😋
If I did do that, I'd feel so guilty that I'm burning paper rather than recycling it to help prevent more trees from having to be cut down. And it seems you'd just be building up more anger within yourself rather than letting it out.
And the people who don't care wouldn't feel guilty, wouldn't they just not care...? *is clueless*

And it feels kind of nice to let it out for once & seeing other people agreeing instead of just keeping it to yourself and wanting to punch the screen
Soo... yeah. ^^

@icymuffin - Maybe there should just be one complaint thread where people rant and get it out of their systems, as long as they aren't directly attacking anyone. You know, compile all complaint threads into one or something. 😋

Then write it on the concrete with chalk. Lay out words on the ground out of rubbish you picked up from the ground, then throw it all in the bin. Now THAT's eco-friendly.
Why do you have to tell a bunch of randoms your problems with egg cave? what's wrong with bad punctuation. Why do you want to make people feel guilty over such small matters?
If everyone is agreeing then who are the people doing the problematic stuff?
I don't know about everyone else, but egg cave for me is just a place to chill. i dont wanna be corrected 4 bad punctuation, speling erors, I get enough of that at school. I don't want to be maade feeling guilty because i didn't make the i a capital letter because I didn't put the comma after the word letter.

If you were brand new to egg cave, how on earth would you instantly know every egg that is common? Of course they're gonna offer a common egg for a creature they like, because that's all they have. All we need to do is to kindly tell them "Sorry but the egg you offered is a common creature". 😊 It only takes a second. Isn't that nicer than to be told "NO! DON'T OFFER COMMON CREATURES THEY ARE TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT! I'M GOING TO REPORT YOU IF YOU OFFER COMMON CREATURES"... Blah blah blah.

What about putting the warning on the Topic? So people don't click it and have to feel the pain and disapointment of seeing 'one of those topics again'.
I am just expressing my one annoyance, since that is the topic name after all.

1) Eco-friendly or not, thanks but no thanks. I have my opinions, you have yours. I like this better, you don't. 'kay then?
2) As I said before, why would they feel guilty if they don't care? Didn't you say that they won't change?
3) Egg Cave is a place for me to chill too 😃 Yay! As well as many other users. That also means it's a place for us to express ourselves. I'll respect your ideas, so please don't make a pointless arguement out of us expressing our opinions
4) I'm not forcing any of my ideas down anyone elses throat, so why are you taking this so seriously? ^^ No one told you that you had to.

Hate me if you'd like, I can't really stop you. But this is just what I think like it or not. So don't even bother trying to change my view of the world.

Something else that's getting on my nerves in the TC: People who write res on their lots and flip when you offer. If you don't want people to offer write the whole thing, res also mean Retiered eggs.

1) Okay, I understand. You would rather tell everyone the bad things you think of egg cave than keeping it to yourself and letting out the anger by other means.
2) I NEVER mentioned the words 'Don't care'. Just because they feel guilty does that mean they'll change? Not everyone on egg cave has perfect punctuation skills.
3) But people need to think before they express themselves. And like dude, expressing yourself by telling everyone what you hate about egg cave? Are there truely no better ways to express yourself? Do people really want to hear that?
4) The only idea that I am 'expressing' is that people shouldn't keep posting pointless topics about negative egg cave things that cannot EVER be solved! There will never be a perfect egg cave where everyone has perfect grammar, there are no new commers who don't understand the whole rarity system, spammers, etc. And that's okay. We need to just accept that.

Okay dude, don't take this personally. I'm only 'expressing myself' since you said that egg cave was a place for many to do just that. I certainly do not hate you, I beat you are a very kind person. And why is this egg cave thing suddenly a view of the world?! I am talking about a website. It is not the world.
