'Actually, I was wondering whether the building has a kitchen or not. If it has a training ground, there could be a kitchen. I don't like hunting creatures.'

Crystal ran into the building, searching up and down for the kitchen. "No luck. Except a bowl full of potatoes and carrots. Want that? Not me. I prefer meat." Crystal told Mai as she went out with her spear to hunt.

'It's not that I don't like eating meat,' Mai said, helping herself to the bowl of potatoes and carrots. 'It's the hunting. But if it's necessary, I will hunt with you.'

"Oh. Come on, we have planty of space behind this cactus." Crystal shot her spear at an Alkub. "Yay!"

'Alright then,' Mai smiled. 'It's going to take me a lot of nerve, but here goes...'

She threw a small piece of carrot near the entrance of a hole. A rabbit jumped out and took the carrot and at the same moment, Mai shot an arrow from her bow. The rabbit collapsed.

"You're quite good with this stuff, Mai." Crystal said as she was taking the spear out of the fully evolved Alkub. "We're going to have food for at least a week!"

Mai smiled. 'Thanks Crys. You've got good accuracy as well,' she said, picking up the rabbit and taking out the arrow. 'Now, if there's no kitchen, I'm guessing we'll have to make a camp fire of some sort.'

"So... if we smoke the food for 3 hours, the food won't rot for 10 days. I know a good spot." Crystal winked. Crystal led Mai to a place with lots of trees. "We will get water from rain here. It's also a great place to watch the sunset."

'Very nice place,' Mai agreed. 'I'll collect the wood, you'll collect the water? After that we can watch the sun set while we smoke our meat.'

Mai smiled. She walked deeper into the forest and collected branches from the ground, making sure they were dry. When she was satisfied with the amount she gathered, she walked back to the camp and settled the branches down.

"I've got water. I have two rocks too. Let's make a fire using the rocks." Crystal said as she rubbed the rocks together. A spark went onto the branches, therefore creating a fire.

Mai skinned the rabbit and put it through a skewer. 'Okay, the rabbit's ready to be cooked,' she said and put it over the fire.

Crystal chopped up pieces of the Alkub and put it through a skewer. Then, she took both skewers and put it on the fire. "Yum! I can smell it already." Crystal licked her lips.
