I joined in @Santa's secret santa event, and as I just found out, the lovely @Tumblr was my secret santa. They got me a Solis, but @Santa gave it to somebody else! 😱 I haven't had proper internet since the 23rd, and therefore couldn't offer on the lot they posted on my wall.... So when I finally get to use a real computer, I find out my gift has been handed to someone else... ☹️

Anyone know why this happened?

I am content to sit quietly and wait for answers...
But I am still quite bummed about what has happened with my gift.

@pipkitten that happened to somebody else, somebody got their secret Santa a sworn, but it was given to the wrong person.... X.o

It got all mixed up...I was the secret santa for spenser_123 BUT they didn't get thier present to hai in TIME, so...they smilies had to give everyone different secret santa gifts in order for everyone to get one. I donated an extra creature and I know that smilies gave A LOT.

@Pipkitten Did you give your present before Christmas Eve?

I was secret Santa for Tumblr. I completely forgot about the event until on Christmas Eve I was told that I wouldn't get anything if I didn't give a present before 11 pm on Christmas Eve.

I handed my gift in at about 10: 30 and in return got a Corsal...

Maybe you handed in your gift after that time and she gave yours away?

That... Makes me really mad. ☹️ Just because some people didn't get their gifts in on time doesn't mean that others' gifts can be handed off to people they weren't meant for.... Because of that, I didn't get one even though I got mine in ahead of time.

I am totally bummed. I sent my gift for my person, EARLY at that, so why in the world I didn't get my gift is beyond me. *angry sigh*

That's probably because the person that was assigned you didn't send in a present so smilies had to find one for you. (= She did say that everyone will get a gift even if the person that got that person didn't enter one.
