Skye yawned as she emerged from the house that she?d bought with her friends. After her parents had supposedly passed away they?d all saved up enough money to buy a house together. It wasn?t necessarily a hard thing to do, these days. Though it tended to get a bit chaotic, she supposed, considering everything.

Moving towards the center of the town, where the stands of fruit and other goods were sold, Skye decided that spending a couple of terras on fruit sounded like it would definitely be worth it right now, based on the rumbling of her stomach. Stopping and handing her money to the woman behind the table, she smiled and picked up a piece of fruit, nodding a thank you to her before moving away from it, turning her gaze around at her surroundings. Where was everyone, anyway?

Huffing slightly, she frowned as she tried to find someone to talk to. Where was Josh today, anyway? Normally he was out and about by now. At least, she thought he would?ve been. Hopefully she?d find someone soon to talk to before she absolutely died of boredom...

Josh had gotten a late start today. He had gone to bed late last night, and woke up later than usual. He half expected his parents to have awakened him earlier in the morning. But it didn't really matter anyways, not today. He was off work, something that he was thankful for.
He trudged outside the house, shutting the door behind him and squinting in the bright sunlight, stretching his arms behind his head and looking around the colony. There were already a lot of people out. Whoops.

Maddy yawned sleepily as she stretched and woke up. She shuffled into the kitchen were Zoe was eating breakfast while playing with her stuffed dinosaurs. Her mom rushed into the kitchen, explaining that she would have to take Zoe to school. Maddy frowned knowing she had a big test in first period.
"But mom, I-" She tried to explain halfheartedly
"No buts Maddy." Her mom said glaring at her.

Skye moved over to one of the tables, breaking open the fruit she'd bought on the edge of it. Smiling slightly when she saw that it was indeed ripe, she took a bite of it, savoring the taste. She still remembered the day after the 10th pilgrimage arrived. It'd been when she first met Josh and he'd been trying to eat the outside of the fruit. Typical of a fresh in Terra Nova, of couse.

Glancing around once more, as if hoping to see someone she knew appear out of thin air or something as she walked throughout the colony, no particular destination in mind, she was plesantly surprised to see Josh nearby. Raising an eyebrow at him, she moved towards him - smirking slightly. "Hey, sleepyhead," she greeted, the fruit she'd bought only moments before still in hand. "You slept in late. Getting your beauty sleep?" she continued, teasing him.

Josh smiled, still tired and groggy. "It's just what I needed, Skye," he said, laughing. "I went to bed late last night. Had some stuff to do -" he looked back at his house "- parent's orders - so I didn't get to sleep until late. How long've you been out here?"

Isabella hid in a bush, watching carefully. She watched some dinosaurs from afar, and stepped backwards into a lush, green forest. She was lost and alone... She heard something and ducked behind a boulder. Crouched as low as possible, she resorted to putting her hands over her head, and attempting at disappearing from whatever was there.

Skye grinned slightly up at Josh, her expression amused at his obvious grogginess. "Ah, I see. So you weren't just trying to get your beauty sleep," she said, taking another bite of her fruit once she'd finished her sentence. Holding up the other half of the fruit, she offered it to him, then, realizing that she'd just been standing there, eating in front of him. Sure, it was just Josh, but it still felt a little rude. "Want some?" she asked, smiling up at him before returning her attention to the question he'd asked.

Shaking her head, she smiled slightly. "Nah, I haven't been out here for very long," she said, shrugging slightly. "Only about fifteen minutes or so, I guess," she added, watching him curiously. Then a thought struck her. "Also...shouldn't you be at work? Or did Boylan give you the day off?"

Josh took the fruit, smiling thankfully at Skye and taking a bite out of it. "Thanks," he mumbled with a full mouth. He waited until he had swallowed his bite before answering Skye's rapid-fire questions.
"Boylan gave me the day off," he said. "He probably figured I needed a break, what with everything that's happened." He shrugged, taking another bite of the fruit.

Isabella wondered if she could survive out there in the wilderness. She realized that she was being paranoid, and got up slowly. She climbed a tree to avoid little creatures on the ground. She used it as her camp, and as an outpost.

That meant that they could hang out today, granted that he wanted to and that his parents didn't mind, anyway. Nodding slightly, she offered him another smile. "Well...You deserve a break. You work too hard," Skye continued, rolling her eyes playfully at him.

"Anyway...What's on the agenda for today, since you're off and all?"

Isabella sat down and propped her back against a branch. Some sort of nuts grew on this tree, but she wasn't sure what they were. She chose camp in a nice spot, because there were berry bushes around, and a stream about a mile away. Wondering what to do next, she sat in the tree quietly.
